Summary: Powerful Little Speakers!
Review: Boom Boom Boom!

They fit on my desk neatly, have a convenient headphone jack, and the sound quality is excellent. Economically priced, they were the perfect replacement for the teensy speakers that originally came with my machine.

Summary: Price and Sound
Review: For the price at this level, i find it sounds very good, well balanced..., unlike other tint sound, it has quite of a wider sound spectrum without spend 2x or more

Coming from a high-end Home Audio, B&W Speakers, i am quite happy with this unit

Summary: AWESOME!!! audio and music fan
Review: Harman Kardon is a manufacturer of high end audio products. This speakers were originally designed for Dell computers. The problems mentioned by other reviewers are probably due to a bad setup of the equipment, grounding problems or bad recordings. I got mine and plug them in my computer and they sounded great. At the beginning I had a problem of too much echo, but it was because of the 3d function of my soundcard, so I had to disable it to let the speakers perform well, otherwise vocals sound awful. Also I place the speakers properly, because they are very directional. Believe me, they are the best computer speakers I have heard, unbelievable sound for their size. They have very good bass though I don't believe they go down to 30 Hz as you find in their specs. They are a best buy.

Summary: An excellent, affordable pair of speakers.
Review: I bought these with my new Dell PC about a year ago, and I have been very satisfied with them since. My music, my games, everything sounds great through them. They look stylish too!

Summary: Not great
Review: I don't understand why these speakers are getting such high reviews from people. They're ok, but definitely not great. They get loud without distorting, there's a decent amount of bass for their price and they're cheap. But I think anyone would be much better off getting a slightly more expensive but better set of speakers.

Summary: Not music quality? Are you nuts?!?
Review: I just got a set of these speakers on my new business computer. I was blown away. I put one of my favorite CD's (Music for the Masses, a Tribute to Depeche Mode) in the machine and heard sounds I had never heard before. Songs I thought [were bad] had a range of sound that I hadn't even dreamed of. I've used speakers from Sony, Kinyo and Koss on computers in the past, and I would most definitely say that these are the ones to get for sheer sound quality...

Summary: Good but not great
Review: I was impressed with the sound from these speakers (min. distortion at high volumes) but was sorely disappointed in it's anemic bass output. For basic applications, these speakers are pretty good, but if you listen to a lot of music or want the "big boom" explosions from your games, you're better off with a 3-piece system.

Summary: El Cheapo
Review: I'd buy some headphones. Headphones will offer better sound in a smaller package. Did I hear someone say Grado SR-60?
