Summary: Bass too big?
Review: these speakers tend to way overplay the Bass in music. I suppose that would not be a bad thing in games, movies and such but it really screws up the music. all you can hear is the superb high range and the extreemely deep rumbling lows. Somewhear between about 100 and 300 Hz it is lacking some volume. I end up playing with the sub turned all the way down. not cool. They are really not bad speakers though. The way overkill wattage really helps the quality.

Summary: Great Speakers after 4 months
Review: Well i just wanna recap you guys reading reviews about people who had them less than a month. Well still the kick butt and ROCK! My sub is alive and kicking at 25% power and satilites at never over 60% (theres no need, they are frigging loud to begin with, no need to pump them full blast.) Just baby them for 2 weeks them go on out on the after and you'll be just fine. I enjoy these bad boys for everything. I use them for music (rock and techno), games (FPS and RTS) and DVDs. I have a 20 inch T.V. and 2 dvd players (PS2 and regular) in my room, but sense my speakers rock and my Computer kicks butt i just use these. True there are better, but on a budget no more than $150, these speakers are the only option. I found blowing these speakers up is hard, i tried ;) They don't, maybe i just got lucky but i broke them in for 2 weeks which i recomend to do. When i fisted played MOHAA and Call of Duty....Heaven! Thats all you need to know, find out for your self. The sub="Gernade!"...........BOOM! Loud! I love these. I recommend them to anyone.

Summary: Logitech Z560 4.1 Computer speakers
Review: The first set I received had a sub-woofer that was not wired correctly. This was just before Xmas. Amazon indicated this set was received by them directly from Logitech. I then e-mailed Logitech, which suggested an answer in 24 hrs. (I never received one).
Amazon customer service was fantastic. They sent me out a new system promptly with an immediate pickup for the set which was defective.
This set- Z560 is amazing, I absolutely love the sound and the pod fits right on the stand of my FP1800 flat screen.
I currently added the Sennheiser RH85 Cordless headset and it is
so convenient to plug it into the control/volume pod.

Summary: beware of hardware failure
Review: The sound quality of these speakers is excellent and price wise they're a steal compared with the Klipsch promedias. HOWEVER keep all sales records because there are definite hardware issues with this model. (I never thought it would happen to me.) After 2 yrs of regular use, my rear output suddenly no longer works. The rear satellites work fine when hooked up to the front output, so it's something wrong internally. After going to the Logitech forms on-line, this appears to be a common problem...

Summary: Obviously!
Review: Yeah, best speakers ever owned. I have had them for 3 months with no problems. I have a really good idea though. Instead of using all four channels for the computer only, I hooked up the rear channels to my clock radio. Its really easy, it has separate input cables for the front and rear. Using monster wire made it about 10% clearer. Very deep bass that hits very well for a 8" sub, you would swear it is a 12. Simple, easy, just hook it up and go. I used some turtle wax rubber restorer to shine up the rubber surrounds on the sub and satellites. Don't get it on the cones though. I was thinking of replacing the 8" sub with a rockford fosgate but really its pretty good. Don't waste your money on a really expensive system when this is more than you will ever need....

Summary: An outstanding set of speakers
Review: The first thing that I have to say is that these speakers sound awesome even through my laptop's 2-channel sound card. I have had them for a few months now and I have no complaints. The seem very sturdy and well built.

They are perfect for my dorm room where I was able to mount the speakers on the wall. They are also extreamly loud. I have never even turned up the volume up all the way yet because it becomes painful. As is, my whole floor can hear the bass from these great speakers

Summary: The are GREAT!
Review: I just got these Speakers off of a site, and once i turned these babies on, i was in Bliss. All the people who said they blew them up the first day, WOW. They must not no sound systems, you never jack up the sub. Only turn it up it enough so you can hear it, but no find the sub blindly. Sub over 50% = bad news. Well everything rocks about them, so im happy!

Summary: One Year, Two Blown Subwoofers
Review: The sound from these speakers is great, but the subwoofer is prone to blow, even at moderate volumes if sustained over a few hours. I normally don't review products, but after seeing all the outstanding reviews of this speaker system I thought its important for buyers to know its drawbacks. I blew the subwoofer in a week. Then I blew it again 11 months later. Great sound, I guess, but don't push this system at all.

Summary: Unbelievable Sound Quality!
Review: I have my Logitech Z560s hooked up to my laptop with an external USB Soundblaster Extigy soundcard, and the sound I get for music and movies is absolutely jaw-dropping!! I would never have imagined that computer speakers could be as good as these. If you are considering speakers for your computer for listening to music and watching movies then do NOT get 2.1 speakers when you can get these 4.1 beauties for almost the same price!

Summary: Give it 2 days, and it rocks!!!
Review: I was frankly scared buying this product at first; the sub seemed fragile and prone to "blowing." However, I took caution from all of those reviews and gave this system a 2-day "break-in" period. I played various genres of music round-the-clock for 48 hours at moderate volume to break-in the drivers of the various speakers, so as to avoid a blowout from a virgin speaker. I HIGHLY SUGGEST anyone who buys this to do the same, because you will get better sounding speakers, and at least no blowouts.

As for the actual quality, it is really amazing.... the sub can handle anything your computer can throw at it. I was a little disappointed at first because the highs weren't too crisp, but removing the grills fixed that pronto. I'm very impressed by the quality of these speakers, and I'm glad I took heed from the other reviewers. Remember, don't just buy these and crank them up right away in audiophilic glee; give them a chance to break in first. BTW.... these are pretty damn loud speakers, make sure your windows volume settings are around 25% across the board.
