Summary: Short Battery Endurance , Battery has memory effect
Review: I bought my new 15GB ipod at amazon here. The battery operation endurance is unbearably short, although the player has elegant appearance and awesome storage capacity. Charging One hour for operating one hour is my way to operate my Ipod everyday. I found the battery has memory effect, which means the battery cannot fully charged when the times goes on. Also the iTune which is the enclosed programme for arranging and organising songs or song list for ipod, is much difficult to organise songs than Winamp. Therefore, I recommend you to use winamp to organise song list and then press "import" song list in iTune to transfer song files to your ipod. If I were you, I would prefer to buy the new mini ipod. The battery operating hour may be longer than previous ones, I guess.

Review: this is incredible. This ipod is phenomenal: it's small, extremely good looking, really easy tu use. the only problem is that I have a PC and apple doesn't sell usb connection with the ipod which cost 25$. Anyway go gor it. It's the most classy toy I've ever got

Review: Buyer beware- If your iPod breaks after the warranty period, you will be out of luck. Apple considers the iPod to be a disposable product. They don't even answer letters or emails. Or you can pay for a repair which will cost more than a refurbished iPod, and have a shorter warranty (90 days) than a third party vendor. Their customer service stinks.

Review: Apple's 15 GB ipod is the best mp3 player ever. It can more songs than most people even know and you can shake and stuff and the music wont skip. The only drawback i have found so far is that it scratches so incredibly easily. I have found scratches on it that i have no memory of how it happened. If you look at the back of it you will see the whole thing all scratched up. I wished it came with a dock and/or a case since the ones that apple offer are $40 each which is quite expensive. However there are some 3rd party manufactuers where you can find a dock or case for much cheaper. The games are ok but you cant pause the games or keep an acurate score either, but this is just a minor drawback since that isnt the point of it. When you sync it with itunes on a mac it transfers all your songs really fast. This is a great product for anyone who listens to music.

Review: I am still having trouble wrapping my mind around how great this gadget is. I began being very selective about what music to put on, but after realizing that entire albums transfer in less than 5 seconds, and then realizing that after putting 150 CDs onto this thing that I wasn't using 1/3 of its capacity, and then realizing there was NO seek time for songs at all... it struck me that this may be the most amazing thing I've purchased in a long long time. Buy it.

Review: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The battery only lasts in these for 18 months, then you can either pay $250 to get it replaced, risk the entire product buy trying yourself, or just buy a new one. I havn't heard of a iPod with a replacable battery, but I did hear they MAY do it. So unless you have $250 to throw away, it's for you. It is a great product, though. Just be aware of the battery.

Review: For those of you still looking for a mp3 player look no further. The ipod is the ultimate player out there. It's extremely very easy to use (with itune), has many features, tons of extra accessories and pretty to show to your friends. The only downside is the battery life which last about 5 to 6 hours instead of 8. But considering it's small size that's a minor issue. Definitely a recommended buy.

Summary: You can't find a better one out there.
Review: I've owned this iPod for a good month now, and I can't put it down. I've taken it everywhere that I have gone, and the portability of it and the fun games won't stop you from taking it everywhere. The best part about it is its auto-sync with your computer. It really is just that simple: Plug it in and it automatically syncs with your iTunes program. Other MP3 players that I have used sometimes are a pain to transfer music. If you're not that good with computers or know someone that isn't, you should definetly get them this so it's easy for you or them to do the transfers. Another thing I like is the software and extras. Music Quiz is my favorite game of the 4. Basically what it does is it gives you a sample of a song on your iPod and then you have a limited time to answer which of the 5 in a list it is. It keeps track of your score and how many you've gotten right and wrong. I use this iPod on my Windows computer...so here's the warning: Get the USB 2.0 with Dock Connector accessory, because otherwise you might find yourself running back out to the store to get it. When you purchase the iPod, it only comes with adapters to connect it a firewire port...which most windows computers do not have (all macs do). That way, you can hook it up to your PC without any problems. I also read in a previous review that someone couldn't download iTunes music to their iPod. I can do that just fine, I'm not sure what he was talking about. I'm glad that Apple really made an effort to make sure that Windows users also could enjoy it, because otherwise they would have really lost a lot of customers. Overall, I have found no problems with it (The $300 will go a long way because you'll have the iPod for years) and I think that anyone who's looking for a good mp3 player to collect music on should get this.

Easy to download music--and I use Windows Minuses There's a slight pause between songs
If your car doesn't have a tape deck you need to purchase an add-on that is suppose to work through your car speakers... this has worked inconsistently for me.
