Summary: It's great except... it doesn't print
Review: After spending at least an hour designing a nice-looking label, I go to print it, and I get an "Out of Memory" dialog box; the app is frozen and I have to kill it. I restart my computer and... same thing. Quite frustrating. (I've never had this problem with any other software, and I do have a decent machine.) I emailed their support, and I still haven't heard anything in 3 weeks. So I can't give it more than one star.

The software looks great and does everything except print, but unfortunately that's the most important thing. I had to download a different shareware program and adjust its printing dimensions to match the Burlington paper (which seems decent, by the way). It might actually work for you... but it might not.

Summary: This May be the Best CD Label Kit!
Review: First let me tell you who I am. I am Graylen Cook, and I am a songwriter who records my songs at home using a digital hard disk recorder. I make many cds, and have had a need for a labeling system for some time. I'd bought the others, but somehow they don't seem to work so well for me. The design doesn't get centered on the label or it is a pain to get all the words on, or a pain to change something. Did I mention that I'm rather technophobic, and have trouble with simple computer skills?

I bought the Burlington CD Label Kit and within a short time I was printing a test that looked really good! I was thrilled that finally I had found a kit that was basically made for dummies, and that I could turn out a professional looking label in my home.
There are many templates and labels to choose from. I found one that was just what I was looking for, and it has been the label for my self produced commerical cd every since.
In my opinion the ease of use, and the features of this kit, together with the high overall quality of the graphics makes this THE KIT that everyone should have! IF you buy the Burlington CD Label Kit you will not be sorry.

Summary: Recommend you pass on this one.
Review: I bought the CD Label Kit, which includes the design software, and I am pleased with the labels. Hey, what can go wrong with a label except that it doesn't stick? But, the software packaged with the Burlington was a pain to use. It was not user- friendly, has no print documentation and the help is paltry to say the least. I searched for twenty minutes trying to change the fonts. Something that basic should not be that hard. And the provided templates are mediocre, bordering on funky. The graphics used for the templates often looks like something out a 1998 clip-art program.

Bottom line: If I had to do it over again, I buy a different CD Label Kit. I recommend you pass on this one. Conditionally Recommended
