Dataproducts Compatible Cartridge for Epson Stylus Color 800 (Black) Replaces S020108

Review: After use of about two weeks the black cartridge appeared to run out of ink. Did not make more than 20 sheet of prints. Switched back to a Epson Cartridge and all worked well. Cleaned the heads several times and said put a Epson back in and try it.

Review: I bought three of these ... 2 of them worked with no problem, but the third was dead out of the gate. Given how inexpensive, you'd think I'd feel ahead of the game, but I really needed that 3rd cartridge and had a ton of work to get done. So ... warning ... if you buy this, at least have a backup Epson.

Apparently, based on these reviews, when the Dataproducts cartridges work, they work fine, but they only work SOME of the time..

Summary: Vent the Cartridge
Review: Occasionaly a cartridge is not venting air to it and the printing is poor. Even after the venting tape has been remove so take a straight pin and insert it throught the Lable into the small round hole you feel or see underneath the label. Do not remove the cartridge from the printer to preform this. This can also apply to all other brands also.

Review: Over the past two years, I've used Epson and Rhinotek cartridges in my printer. Now I will use only Dataproducts ink cartridges. "You get what you pay for" is no longer true when it concerns cartridges for this printer. I was surprised to find that the least-expensive product worked best for me. I had been hesitant to use a product that cost so much less than the name brand and replacement items... . In the future, I'd buy any Dataproducts item you have available. Dataproducts has a terrific product. Thank you Amazon.com for making it available to your customers. In the past, I've always suggested your Website as a wonderful place to shop to all my friends and colleagues. Values such as this make that so much easier.
