Summary: good quality but overpriced
Review: This is a good product and works well with my Lexmark z52 printer. The price is kind of high compared to (almost all) other color ink cartridges... but this cost is offset with the low cost of Lexmark printers.

Summary: Lexmark Inkjet Color Cartridge
Review: Tired of over glossy artificial looking color printing? The Lexmark 15M0120 color cartridge for the Z51 Inkjet is the way to go. This cartridge originally shipped with this printer when new. Most of us print color as part of documents rather than photos. We need ink that shows up well in color print, shadings and areas to be emphasized. We don't want long drying periods that often smear when the impatient user picks them up too soon!

Although the cartridge is a bit spendy, (aren't they all) (...), its period of useful printing is long. I have used my current cartridge for about 18 months of home printing chores.

I would suggest that the 15M0120 is a good choice for appropriate model inkjets.

Summary: Inconsistencies in cartridge quality
Review: While the LexMark z51 can be an incredible quality printer, for the past 9 months or so, the quality of the color cartridges has varied wildly. I do a lot of photo printing, and end up having to exchange about 1 out of 2 color cartridges I buy. The main problems is lines on the prints, and the yellow gives out about 1/4 of the way through the ink supply, turning skin tones excessively pinkish neon.

I emailed LexMark about this problem, but never received a reply, so I would have to say follow-up customer service isn't a priority with this company.

It's a shame, one would think a [money] printer with [less money] cartridges that boasts of printing 1200x1200 resolution would have higher quality standards, but this doesn't seem to be the case. I would have to say my next printer will definitely not be a LexMark. A shame, but to paraphrase the old saying; When it's good, it's very, very good, but when it's bad, it's a pain in the cartookus to keep exchanging faulty cartridges.

Summary: Can't Wait to Ditch this Printer!
Review: Yes, the Lexmark Z51 was a GREAT buy---they really hooked me in with the $... price tag. But now I've invested ten times that amount in cartridges and I'm finished throwing my money away. Yes, it's a decent quality, but way too pricey, as many others have agreed. My next printer won't be a Lexmark, primarily due to the cartridge prices.
