Rating: Summary: Still playing this one... Review: Another success for Dreamcatcher. Please keep making them :) This game is a bit scarier than previous games, so keep that in mind when purchasing for younger kids. At one point, you are required to go to the graveyard and snoop and if that is not bad enough, later you have to go back in the dark. To add to the intensity, it's like a maze to even get out there and back... ever tried doing a maze in the dark?? A Very good game so far - has kept my interest and my mind engaged. From an adult who loves mysteries, that is saying a LOT about a kids' game :)
Rating: Summary: A step up from previous games Review: Not that the other games were bad - on the contrary - they were excellent. This game is more complex and the graphics just keep getting better and better. I buy these under the pretense that they are for my girls, but I play them also! They are an excellent way to challenge kids to think. Everything is not handed over to you and you have to put your mind in gear to play. I also like the multiple levels that offer less hints for older kids/adults. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE NANCY DREW GAMES :)
Rating: Summary: Two CRAZY Girls love Nancy Drew Review: This is an awsome game! It was not as difficult as the others, but, maybe we're just getting smarter! Nancy Drew games are much better than most games for girls. They really make you think. We can't wait till the next game comes out!
Rating: Summary: Best Game Ever Made! Review: This is, I think, the best Nancy Drew game. I will write what it says on the inside CD cover. "While snowed in at the Wickford Castle Ski Resort, you, as Nancy Drew, are trapped in a place that is as strange as it's history. The castle is a riddle, full of dead ends and detours that hint at royal legend. Pick up the thread of a long forgotten secret in this intrigung 3D interactive mystery. Solve baffling puzzles, search concealed rooms, interview evasive suspects, and sidestep snowy danger on the hunt for a secret that someone else is desperate to discover first." Why did I like this game? It had so many secret rooms and secrets in general. It was French style. You discovered things way beyond your imagination. Nancy Drew, you've scored again.
Rating: Summary: Great. Period. Review: Nancy Drew is so so great. For a crime she's never late. Secret hallways, secret rooms! Always finds them really soon. In this game, a theater she goes. Why she went is just not known. You'll have to buy the game to find out. Please, my friend, oh please don't pout! This is one of the best games. Should be put in the Hall of Fame! The culprit in the end is sad. But don't let it stop you, my friend, stay glad.
Rating: Summary: Surprise! Review: The ending of this game was really surprising! Oh my goodness, you would never GUESS who the culprit was! Otherwise, this game is great. Why? There is a lot of action and so many surprises! The setting is in an old theater. There are lots of secret rooms and passages, you know what I'm saying? The graphics are first class. Buy one today. Believe me, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY. There are discouraging moments, but none of the puzzles are hard! (I was playing on junior detective) Please let me know if my review was helpful or not. Thanks!
Rating: Summary: The Best Game Ever! Review: This game was very exciting for me. It got me on the edge of my seat, and I almost freaked when I found out who the culprit was! I recommend this to you strongly! It is the best Nancy Drew game yet! Although the hallways may seem long, they are nothing when you get the game straight and nothing compared to the school hallways in Secrets Can Kill. There are so many great puzzles to solve. Go Nancy Drew, keep up the awesome work! Please tell me if this review was helpful or not. Thanks!
Rating: Summary: The best game by FAR! Buy one today! Review: This is the best game by far. Buy one if you are smart. The people are awesome! The fun don't stop! Puzzles are awesome! Culprit is a SURPRISE! YA!
Rating: Summary: Could this be better than Message in a Haunted Mansion? Review: Trite but true, this could be the best Nancy Drew Mystery yet. Although the storyline is becoming a bit formulaic,(Nancy is trapped at a deserted log cabin this time,)it still has all of the right ingredients. Downright scary dogs, several would be suspects, a spooky cemetary, and a forest maze combine to give just the right blend of spine-tingling fun. Best of all, they have speeded up play by allowing Nancy to transition from one time frame to another easily. All she does is start up the stairs of the cabin, and a handy alarm clock automatically pops up.
Rating: Summary: My hand is still aching from traipsing all over the castle Review: This is the weakest of the Nancy Drew, Her Interactive Series. After playing Message in a Haunted Mansion I had high hopes for thrills and chills in The Royal Tower, however there was little excitement to be found in this game. The castle was far too spread out. Three full floors of dull hallways to walk through in order to search for clues; left my mouse hand feeling numb, and my detective instincts feeling bored. Hey, I know its a castle and has to be on the large side, but for crying out loud, jauntering about from one floor to another, up and down staircases, over and over just left me more frustrated than anything else. If you want to maximize your Nancy Drew fun, check out Message in a Haunted Mansion or Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake. Both of these titles have a better pace, and creepier feel.
