Rating: Summary: Oustanding Sound Quality! Review: I found the sound quality of music that I downloaded from my computer to be demonstration quality!!!(I can't understand how the other reviewer found it to be poor). And the FM radio radio works great with outstanding ability to pick up stations(even better than some tabletop radios) and the sound quality was prestine clear. It was a little hard trying to figure out the instructions and how to use the different buttons but over all I felt that this a great MP3 player worthy of a 5 star rating.
Rating: Summary: This Is The One You Want For The Gym Review: I read the reviews here before buying. Music helps me power through my most intense workouts. In the past, I've used Cassette and CD Walkmen, but they have at times been cumbersome. This thing straps to my arm and hangs with me. (A bigger armband would be nice though.) The sound quality is excellent and it can get loud if you want it to. The fact that it only plays in alphabetical order is very easy to work around. I either number the tracks in the order I want to hear them, or just forward/reverse to he song I want to hear. You can also choose to loop a certain part of a track, repeat a track or play tracks at random. I like the rugged, water (sweat) resistant design too. If you're looking for something to listen to get you pumping, I have two words for you. GET ONE! This is the best thing that's happened to workouts since Gatorade!
Rating: Summary: Maximum frustration, poor sound quality Review: The FM presets of this unit are set by an infuriating combination of button presses and exact timing. I found it impossible - perhaps my unit is defective. The instructions are pathetic at best. Loading tracks to the player is a very simple drag and drop using Windows XP. However, sound quality is flat under any Sound Quality preset or with any adjustment of treble and bass. One would expect much better from Panasonic.
