Summary: Get the 005 Model Instead
Review: This model (the 006) has limited remote control (stop, start, pause ONLY) and the remote control is the only method for controling the playback. There is no volume control anywhere! There is no way to skip tracks either forward or backward on this unit. If you accidentally turn the unit off the wrong way you must start at the beginning of your audio files again. Additionally the USB is very picky. Although it would charge on the front USB ports on my less than year old Dell computer it would not allow me to download files that way. On the rear USB port I was able to both charge the unit and download files. The Philips Key Ring model 005 takes care of most of these annoyances because it has a more feature rich remote that allows you to control volume and skip around your audio files. Ironically that model costs less.

Summary: tiny, wearable, rechargable, magnesium, but some glitches
Review: Unfortunately the photo doesn't show the neck strap for this device
with the woven-in volume controls and forward/reverse selectors.
The back of the neck strap has the earphone connector. So the
earphones come with short wires that are less prone too tangling.
I use different earphones which fit better under my motorcycle
helmet, so I still have the tangling problem conventional players have.

This is the only wearable player I know of that recharges from the
USB port (forget the hassle of AAA batteries) and can be operated
while wearing motorcycle gloves (check your local laws). My girlfriend
thinks the magnesium case is sleek and keeps threatening to use it for
a purpose I can't describe here.

A couple glitches which may be issues for you:
1) On some classical music I notice the very first note is cut off.
2) If you pause for too long, it shuts off and loses your place in
the music.
3) My headphone connector went bad. Philips sent me a waranty
replacement right away though.
4) File transfer over USB isn't as fast as Firewire (like the IPods have).

Summary: Good Buy
Review: Works very good;Battery re-charge time very good
Audio Play-back is very good with excellent Head Phones
My system exposed to 120'F 7 days a week and still no electrical problems or system operation problems. To sum it up It's a very tuff little MP3 player.
