Summary: Simple, functional, exactly what i was looking for
Review: No fancy software. No complex interface. Just a simple, straightforward, easy-to-use and reliable device. I love it for jogging. It's light and easy to hold. Given the reviews I've read of competing products, this one is a no-brainer. Buy it.

Summary: Good Player
Review: Okay, I've had it for over a month and have not had any problems. Unlike the horrible Rio 600 which inexplicably failed after 11 hours of use, the Nomad has been durable and reliable. Since I already own the Creative Nomad Jukebox I did not find the software to be that bad. Anyone who can program a VCR should be able to figure out how to rip CDs and download them on to the Nomad II. The flash memory cards are readily available and can expand this product to over 7 hours of music. The sound quality is good and plenty loud enough, even for someone as deaf as me.
Lightweight, easy to use and very affordable.

Summary: Quick Set Up; Easy to Use Software, Great Price
Review: I did my research before buying an MP3 player and I'm very happy with my choice-the Nomad IIc. Despite some of the reviews below, I found the software very easy to use (just drag and drop the songs you want onto the player screen). I was at first perplexed by the headphones and then realized that the plastic strip goes BEHIND your head, not on top of it. Problem solved. Very comfortable and sound is really very good. Generous storage of 128 MB means that I can store a ton of songs at once. Never hear the same song twice during my gym workouts. Fair price. Great design. LCD panel/navigation is fine-not the greatest but certainly not bad. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Works Great
Review: Just received my Nomad II(c)and installed everything on the computer. Don't forget to go to NomadWorld.com and get the latest updates. Everything is great so far. Here's a synopsis:

Software - Easy to use PlayCenter3. View music by Album, Genre, Artist, etc. Transfers easily to Nomad. Only drawback is it takes several minutes to transfer an album to the PC or Nomad. I would like more speed.

Nomad - Easy to use once you've looked over the manual available for printing on the PC. Looks durable, but have not put to the test. Battery life - don't know yet. Looks slick, lightweight and had belt clip. Sound is clear. Volume gets loud enough for most use, but I would like to be able to crank it up another notch. Overall very satisfied.

Summary: Sweet Product!
Review: Honestly, this is the coolest electronic device I own. I've had the Nomad IIc for about a week now and I can't put it down. After opening the product, I installed the software and hooked it up. In a little over a minute I had 25 songs ported onto my MP3 player. It was so easy. A lot of people say that the instructions are terrible. They are right! But don't let that fool you. If you really need instructions, just install the PDF file from the CD and you are good to go. This is an awesome product, and the voice recorder is awesome. If you are looking for a quality MP3 player at a great price, check this out!

Summary: SWEET!!
Review: I am currently waiting for the Nomad 11c, but have used it (friends got it) and i rocks!!!!!!!!!!!! It is extremely easy to use, has awesome head-phones, a backlight display for when your in the dark (must have) and great, i mean great sound quaility. This thing can bring down the house, and it fits in the palm of your hand! It can hold about 4 hourse of music, which in my opinion is just the right amount. If your a newby to the world of mp3's, this is were you should start! The nomad 11c 128 and 64 mb, is by far the quintessence of mp3 players.

Summary: Good TimES!!!
Review: This is the probably the best player out their for your money.
It has 128mb already built in. Thats a lot already. with one extra slot for another 128mb, thats 256mb of music. you tell me something that can hold 256mb of music under $150.00 Its small and light weight. i can fit it in my shirt pocket. People say it not to loud enough. UHHHHH!! It pretty loud. i lready got one complaint that its too loud. The only minor thing(minor) is the no radio thing. but who cares im find without it. i rather listen to music i enjoy that hear the radio, but they could have put it, no harm done. And the delivery time was pretty fast.

Summary: Sounds better than a CD
Review: I just bought this, and have had it about a week, and love it. The sound quality is great! The unit is durable too.(I have already dropped it once.) It fits in my hand, and weighs less than the packaging it was shipped in.
The manual they send with the thing is bunk! You have to install the manual off the CD that comes with it, no big deal.
They also do not tell you how to put in the smart cards. (Remove battery cover and slide in)

Otherwise I love it. I cannot wait to travel without CD's!
