Summary: GREAT product! Go buy it!
Review: THE GOOD: 1.The size and portability of this unit can't be beat.
I stopped using my Discman because it was too
clumsy for the gym and I kept getting the cord
hooked on things. This unit hangs around your neck
and you literally forget you have it on! The only
unit comparable, size wise, is the YEPP but it's
installation software is a nightmare and it goes
through batteries faster than Opra at a buffet.
2. It's one of the cheaper units out there.
3. It's a breeze to load music/data onto it. The
software provided is buggy, but you don't need it.
Your computer recognizes it once you plug it in
and your default media player does the rest.

THE BAD: 1. It does'nt have an equalizer or sound enhancement,
but otherwise the sound is as good as any other unit.
2. The earphones provided are terrible, but all the
units are the same with what they give you.

THE UGLY: Nothing, go buy it already!!!

Summary: While it worked
Review: Worked great until one day the on/off button stopped working.
On the net I find out I am not the only one with the same exact problem.
Creative has, to date, ignored all my emails.
Buy this only if you are in the market for an MP3 player that will work for approxiamtely 90 days; the convenient length of the warranty.

Summary: Wheh it works
Review: Worked great until the on/off button just stopped working.
I find out on the net that I am not the only one with same problem.
Crative has ignored all my emails.
I recommend this item only if you want an MP3 player that will last about ninety days before you need another one.

Summary: Superb little player.
Review: This player is great. Very simple to use, does not have too many fancy controls and quite rugged. The battery cover is difficult to manipulate and the player requires a hard format every week or so (under heavy use) but otherwise it does it's job. My only complaint is the low battery life (4-5 hours but I use rechargables) and the fact that the controls are too tiny to handle easily.

Summary: Solved the problems
Review: Did anyone who rated it one star read the other reviews?
To fix the problem on Muvo.
1. Erase the files.
2. Press the reset button, and keep it pressed for 10 seconds
before and after you plug it into the computer.
3. Pull it out again, plug it in again without pressing any buttons.
4. Format it.

That's how to fix it.
This unit gave me problems whenever I load more than 100Mb.
So, keep the amount of files under 100Mb.

Summary: Great product
Review: I've had the MUVO 128MB for about 2 weeks now and am very happy with it. The size is great and it is really easy to use: just plug it in and copy files to it. I don't really mind not having an LCD...it's a worthy trade-off for the size and portable-drive features. I don't like the fact that it always restarts at the first song, and I would have liked to have a random or shuffle mode. Sound quality is good and I haven't had any technical difficulties with it whatsoever.

Summary: Good product
Review: I first invested in Creative Labs with my Nomad Jukebox C-series 20 GB mp3 player. I love it, but the only down side is that is about the size of CD player (a welcome compromise for the 20 GB storage). I started searching for smaller players and found this.
It is a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it. The only down side is what the other customers have mentioned: it shuts down after a day or two. The storage works, but the player doesn't register. I read a review before I bought it and the guy says how to troubleshoot the problem yourself. I tried his advice and it worked.
Here is what you do: After you install the MuVo software, go through the start menu to "Creative" and click "Format." When the format box comes up, just hit start and it will wipe your hard drive clean (the only down side to this procedure). After this your player should work.
The other down side to the MuVo is storage, only 64mb. The memory thing doesn't really bother me, but if you do want more, there is a 128mb version available.
Despite these two problems, I am definitely pleased with this buy.

Summary: follow up review
Review: I still stand by my prior statement that I love my Muvo, but I just wanted to add one caveat. This thing eats batteries like nothing I've ever seen. Maybe I like my music cranking more than other people but I get two hours max out of a AAA battery. Also, I think a lot of people's problems are probably battery related. I find that it stops playing due to low power even before the low battery light comes on. So you'll definitely need to invest in rechargable batteries if you use this device, because if you listen to music loud, it's best to put a fresh battery in everytime you head out with it or at least carry a spare with you.

Summary: Worked great -- for 45 minutes
Review: I loaded up some songs, and it worked great, until the second time I used it.

It now refuses to turn on. I tried replacing the battery. No luck. The power/play button feels very flimsy, and it doesn't surprise me that it broke.

I'll be getting a Gruvstick instead.

Summary: It was great while it worked....
Review: The MuVo I bought worked very well during the
warranty period. After that it would not turn
on, even after reformatting. It still works
as a USB flash disk, but won't play music.
Based on research on the Internet to find a fix,
I found that this is apparently a common problem
with the unit.
