Summary: Road warriors beware!
Review: Another piece of junk disguised as a portable printer! (Read my review of the HP 350 portable.) On this unit, the paper feed mechanism failed after 3 months -- repaired under warranty. Last week it stopped putting ink down at my client's facility (really embarrassing). It spite of "5 deep cleanings," a new catridge, and 5 more deep cleanings the printer would only print blank pages. I was then forced to go out a buy HP's new portable - the 450 (I'm keeping my fingers crossed) so I could continue working.

Summary: Great Printer, Get One
Review: I bought a refrubished unit. It works great. I had it up and running with my laptop in about 15 minutes. No need for a cable, IRD worked perfectly right out of the box. I noticed a few reviews talking about the "none existent" IR drivers scanner head & battery pack. IR drivers were on the Canaon installation disk. Scanner Head and Battery pack kit are on the way. I found them with no problem. All in all, a great addition to my mobile office. No more running to the hot/airport bussiness offce for a hard copy. BTW, it also works with my Palm Pilot. I down loaded a demo copy of Printboy Deluxe. Pointed the Palm at the IR port of the BJC-85 and I was printing from my Pilot in minutes.

Summary: Refurbished Printer and Scanner
Review: I can't speak for all the 'dealers' in refurbished equipment. But I ordered the BJC-85 from Raintree and it was delivered in 3 days... works perfectly. I ordered a scanner from [a Marketpalce seller] and it arrived on day 4. Works Great. I was reluctant to order from them at first... because the equipment was not from Amazon and because it was used... but it worked out GREAT! Reading the customer comments helped me make my decision so I want to recommend these 2 folks for any products they might want to sell.

Summary: Where have you been?
Review: I have been in business for over 30 yrs., and much of my work takes me outside the office. The addition of my new BJC-85 color printer completes my "out-of-office" experience. I was amazed when I saw the quality and speed of this printer; the color is simply awesome; not something you would expect from a portable, and the lightweight makes it a must for anybody on the road. This is a must have for any professional who insists' on detail.

Review: I have owned BJC 70 and BJC 80. Both have difficulty feeding automatically. I have had to guide each single piece of paper in order for the feed to catch. I have also gone through a power supply. Currently my power button is not operating and cannot turn on. I paid the high price of $300 for dependabilty thinking that it was reliable but the variety of mechanical failures have caused me to look for another brand name. I do love the portability design, but I guess design does not equate with dependability.

Summary: Great little Printer but ....
Review: I just got one it is so small and perfect for fitting in the same laptop bag USB and decent resolution ... but it needs power cord : ( and it says optional battery pack but it is unheard of I think .. ? Anyone know where to get that and it would be great Infra red printing and optional scanner card are great too ..

Summary: World's biggest little printing device
Review: I just received my new Canon portable printer amd it does wonders. It is easily installed and prints fast and sharp. Although I never found the so called "battery" (do the research because its necessary), its portability is excellent. It fits snuggly in the outer pocket of my Targus laptop case so I can carry the whole equipment when on the road. The Canon is the best in its kind for the price. ....

Review: I just think that this printer is the best. It prints like the big one at my work but it takes up the space of a cigar box. It fits just fine on top of my tower.

Review: I must say that this mobile, compact Cannon printer has to be the easiest printer to set-up and use. I had it running in exactly 8 minutes. It has high-quality print-outs, also. What I like most about this printer is the attractive, compact size, which is great for those who live in big Cosmo. cities with limited space! It is easy to transport on crowded subways along with my laptop, also. All in all a great deal for the price!
