Review: (In a nutshell, if you're going to use it with a computer and do not have a Kodak camera that's compatible with the unit, you'll need to buy a special USB cable. The cable should cost about $11.00 US. WIth the cable, I'd give it 5 stars.)I've had it with clogged injet nozzles and paper jams. I thought this little printer would be wonderful to demo digital photography for my college students. So, the price was irresistable and I bought one. My only complaint (only in regards to Kodak)is that i had planned to use it only with my computer. I opened the box, followed the relatively EZ instructions (just like installing most USB perpiherals) and got down to connecting it to the puter and - guess what? No USB cable. After a bit of anger and frustration subsided, I went back to read the directions one more time ... Ohhh ... it says "use the cable supplied WITH YOUR KKODAK CAMERA" (empasis mine). How about that! Luckily I live in an area filled with stores. Staples Office Supplies came though (about an hour round trip and $11.00 for the cable). No - you cant do the logical thing like using a standard cable off some other gizmo (well, maybe if yoou're very lucky). The 6000 uses a special mini plug on one end ( Kodak references info about the cable at www.kodak.com/go/printerdock ) So, once i had the new cable, i hooked it up and it worked perfectly. For the record, in case anyone's interested, I use it on an old Win98 600 mhz gateway. Hey Kodak!!! - why can't you include a cable and raise the price a buck? I'm very satisfied with the image quality. It's small, light, and portable. Great for transporting to various campuses. On amazon.com, the price was irresistable and it was delivered ahead of schedule.

Summary: Impressive Printer and Customer Service
Review: Before I bought this printer I read all the reviews and the only negative ones were about printers that were broken. It just so happened, that my printer dock arrived defective. While it was certainly disappointing, mistakes happen. Things break! Anyway, at that point, my biggest concern was about the quality of the kodak customer service. I called the customer service number and received a lot of help from the representive in which I spoke. He gave me detailed instructions on how to ship the printer off to be repaired. Three days after I mailed the printer back to Kodak, I received an e-mail from them stating that they had received my package and had begun to work on the problem. They also provided me with a link so I could check the progress of my repair. Two days after that I received another e-mail stating that they had shipped my printer back to me and to be expecting it in 3 days. And sure enough, it arrived right on time and they gave me a brand new printer! I believe that defects are highly unusual in the product, so don't let those other reviews scare you off! As for the quality of the prints...I am amazed at how great they are! I am in love with this printer!!!!!

Summary: Great for printing high quality pics if you're not in a rush
Review: I got this for my birthday from my boyfriend. I had already had gotten a Kodak easyshare camera from him so this was a great little gadget for me to own. I tried it out the first time months ago and it worked great. It printed out high-quality pictures. Even today, it is still working great and I couldn't believe how easy it was to print pictures from the computer. The only bad thing about it is that it takes a looong time to print. You'll be sitting watching the paper feed through at least 4 times before it completes printing. And buying the printer cartridge and paper can add up after a while.
Here's a tip: if you haven't used it in a while, make sure to get any dust off of the paper because some of it is still exposed to the air.

Review: I have 3 digital cameras and usually take pictures and then never really develop or look at them. This printer is in a class by itself. Nothing compares. I buy Sony everything, but not this baby. The camera and the printer are worth the price of admission. Just took the kids to Disneyworld, and I already have photo-lab quality pictures in my Disney scrapbook and the kids helped out. What a cool thing. Do not even think of anything else. I did, and nothing compares.

Review: I have the Kodak CX6330. It ROCKS..... The dock works like a charm. This printer is so small you could fit it in your backpack!! This rocks. The prints look like they came from the photo place!! Are albums are filling up!! Overall great price and product!

Review: I just bought the Kodak 6340 and the printer dock. What have I done without it? The set up was very easy and I find that the picture quality rivals that of 35mm pictures. I am an avid scrapbooker and this printer provides me with the most amazing pictures. I love the fact that you don't have to be connected to the computer to print pictures. The set up was very easy and I am still amazed that I can take a picture of my kids and in a few seconds I can have a tangible picture.

Review: I just got this camera and it's so wonderful! I love to take pictures, and since I am away from family and friends, it makes it a snap to keep in touch.
A lot of discussion has been made about price per photo, but honestly I spend about $15 to get one of those new Picture CD's and Prints for just 1 roll of film! Then most of the pictures I didn't even want prints of! So, in the long run the price per pic may be higher, but you decide which ones you want to print-- and THAT is invaluable.
