Pros:

4. print to the edge option
5. print saturation options (per color including black)
6. art-work backgrounds with frames for multiple images
7. image browser with slide-show
8. picture stitch program;
Cons:
1. should use Canon paper only; most reliable results
2. small ink cartridges means you replace more often
Rating: Summary: Canon I470D, a great printer at a great price Review: There is not really that much to say about it, I see it as an excellent printer with very good software, fairy fast and does a good job, you dont have to cash in your CD,s or IRA,s to buy it. Ink consumption is low, results are high. About the most useful software I,ve ever seen on any printer. You plug into the printer directly with your media cards, smart media, compact flash, multimedia and something else I think. If you have a Canon digital camera you can use your existing usb plug and go directly into the printer. Push a button and you quickly get a picture of what you,ll be getting, by the way, when you plug in a media card, no adapters are required. A very good printer, also to boot, its nice looking, Canon did a fine job here and obviously was responsive to the needs of the buying public, if you need a printer, look this over, I have not been at all sorry about buying it, strongly reommend it.
Rating: Summary: Great for Pictuers Review: This is an excellent Photo printer. The only thing is it prints at its best on Canon Paper. It has a build in memory card reader and you can even print directly from your Canon Camera without using a PC. I printed about 50 4x6 pictures and I was amazed with the quality. They looked like regular pictures you could order from a photo lab. The price of the ink was quite low. Only 7.99 for the black cartridge and 18.00 for the color. You have to use canon paper to archive the best results I used HP Glossy Pluss and it was quite terrible. For the price it's a great deal. It has a decent driver that has some auto settings that yield good enhancements. I suggest using the canon software to print instead of printing directly from Windows for some reason it gave me better results. What I don't like is it makes odd sounds when its ideal and the ink cartridges seem smaller than a regular cartridge. I would recommend this printer to any amateur photographer who is looking to print better than decent pictures without burning a hole in your pocket.
Rating: Summary: Great Value Review: This printer does a very good job for the price. The color pictures are pretty crisp and clear and sometimes better than Lab quality. You can use this camera as a regular printer too. Set up is real fast. The ink cartridges are cheap and last long. Do not buy the perforated Canon Glossy paper, the regular Canon Glossy paper should be fine. I did not notice any difference in print quality between the Canon Glossy Paper print and the Canon Pro paper print. Overall I recommend this printer if you are willing to spend less that 75$ (I bought mine for 39$ look out for deals), dont go by the low price of this printer you will be amazed at the quality of the print outs.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Product Review: This printer does an excellent job with documents and photos. BEST OF ALL, I found a place where you can order the ink for only $3.95 for new cartridges! The site is: http://www.cssis4you.com
Rating: Summary: Very pleased after six months... Review: This printer has been great. Bought it for $50, after a $50 instant/in-store rebate. The black ink cartridges are inexpensive and longer lasting than my previous, and costly, BJ-100 cartridges. The printer is fairly quiet and prints at an acceptable speed. So far the print quality (black & color) has been excellent. I have yet to use it for any photo pics though - so can't comment there.
Rating: Summary: A bit drab Review: Yes the printer has some nice features. Low price ink (about 10.00 per cartridge), memory card reading (reads as another drive and can write to card, But when it comes time to print photos they are flat and lifeless. I compared three photos printed from my deskjet 5550 and all came up so short I threw them out. The deskjet won hands down. It made friends look pale with no depth even after changeing many settings. The photos also seemed a lot wetter then the deskjet. I checked cnets review a little to late and their tests show the same.
