Rating: Summary: Great start...poor finish Review: I bought three of these printers about a year ago for office and home. Great concept, nice print quality. Now, 12 months later, all three are worthless, as all three have paper feed problems, grabbing more than one sheet and consequently jamming. HP support is NON-EXISTENT. Stay away from this dog!

Rating: Summary: HP1100se Laser is Very Good. Review: I had an Epson InkJet but for a long time wanted a Laser. HP makes great stuff so I tried the 1100se and I think you would like it to. Its very quiet and prints fast. I print alot and sofar I havent found anything bad to say. It not any bigger then other printers and it smokes them in speed. Im not sure how many pages you get per cartridge but they say more then Ink printers.I say its a keeper. Oh yea the print quality is very good. I keep mine set to low so it dosent use alot of toner.
Rating: Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK! Review: I have had this printer now for over a year and I am quite satisfied with it. I have installed it twice on my computer (because I have reinstalled my OS twice for unrelated reasons), and the first time I installed it with the CD ROM it comes with. It adds a bunch of other items to your computer besides drivers like additional font definitions, help files, etc. The second time I just let Windows 2000 install the drivers itself from it's OS distribution. Both times it was seamless. Perhaps with the latter method, I won't have as many fonts available to me? Don't know.I use it at my home, and it's always on power feature (the printer doesn't have an on/off function) is great. It doesn't consume many watts in its hibernation state, but it's ready to go within minutes of sending it a print job. Someone on here mentioned problems with dust (which can be a problem). I recognized this problem as well when I bought it so I use the plastic bag that the printer was wrapped in for shipping as my cover. It may not be the prettiest cover but it certainly eliminates any dust from collecting in the printer. Highly recommend. Great product.

Rating: Summary: Jammin' Review: I have two. They both began jamming repeatedly after about a year or so. All the HP advice regarding a fix doesn't work. So-- they look good, they are fast enough, and they jam.
Rating: Summary: This one is a keeper Review: I really liked this printers functionality and durability. It has performed just as expected on all operating systems and even on more than one type of print server. It seems to print forever on a single toner cartridge, and has accepted most of the paper I have tried in it. The drawbacks are the printers ability to only hold about 100 sheets of paper and it doesn't care for thick paper either. All-and-all I would buy this again for a great all-around printer.
Rating: Summary: pretty good little printer Review: i think my roommate printed over 500 pages on this printer... but that was 2 years ago, and I'm a student. so this toner hold up quite nicely. as for reliability. hm.. jams at inopportune times. yeah, the paper does jam occasionally, but its not that big of a deal since i unjam and continue printing speed is fast. color is good. what else do you want in a printer? i recommend it

Rating: Summary: Terrible Reliability! Review: I would not recommend this printer if you value reliability. I've had mine for about one year and the thing behaves terribly. I am still on my first toner cartridge, so I'm not using it excessively. It jams continuously in the sheet feeder area and is just plain aweful.
