Summary: Been using it for 3 years....
Review: and I'm still happy! We initially had to get used to the software and the printer setup and yes, you do need some patience during the learning curve of this creative process - it's not the normal daily routine of most people. We never encountered any errors when creating the actual labels or printing them. We also have not had any problems upon using the labelled CDs or DVDs. We're happy with the product.

Summary: Better Than Memorex System
Review: Calibration software is confusing and they will curl in your car player after a while (heat) Otherwise, the capabilities are pretty good, overall happy with it. Got a bunch of the Memorex labels which are decent quality but that software is useless.

Review: For someone like myself who just needs this to print a half dozen or so labels a month I found (after reading the manual; you must at least skim it) it quit easy to use. Again, I recommend reading the manual (print it out) as it is complete and layed out nicely. It's a professional package but suits someone like myself just fine.

Summary: A lot better than other packages out there
Review: Having grown tired of writing information on CD-Rs with a permanant marker, I looked for new ways of labelling the media. At first I tried Avery; I bought a package of CD labels and downloaded the software from the internet as is advised on the back of the Avery labels' package. Big mistake. First of all, you only get to use the software demo ten times. Second of all, no matter what I did with the software, the labels, and my printer, I could never get the calibration right, which resulted in all sorts of messed-up CD labels. I visited my cousin, and he was burning disks and using the Fellowes kit, so I bought it. Excellent choice. I didn't have to calibrate my printer (a Lexmark) AT ALL with the Fellowes software, which is included on CD rom. I just put the labels into the paper tray, hit print, and the labels came out printed just perfectly. Also, Fellowes gives you plenty of labels, including matte and glossy ones, so that when you go to buy Fellowes label refills you can get whichever you prefer after having tested out both with your printer. Now I use a label just about every time a burn a CD. As an added bonus, there are many, many templates for other types of labels, such as for diskettes and ZIPs. My experience with Fellowes was very good, and I rate this item high. It's so much fun using a photo of an musician as the graphical element for the label, and then playing around with text to create the CD title and track listings. When using images with Avery constant manipulation was needed to modify the picture to fit it onto the label. The Fellowes software automatically centers pictures and text, and gives you many more options that are easier to work with than the Avery software. And the Avery software advertised that you don't need an applicator to apply their labels, but their method is VERY tricky, and uses a jewel case in addition to the users very steady hands and excellent eyes, leaving little room for success. The Fellowes applicator is much better...just put the label on the surface, put the CD data side up on a spring-loaded disk that sticks up through the middle of the applicator, and press the CD down, affixing the label to the disk FLAWLESSLY and lined up PERFECTLY. All in all, a good purchase.

Summary: isn't a snap, but after a little calibration works just fine
Review: I bought this thinking that it would be an easy way to label some burnt CDRs. Calibration?? Yea, that's right - you have to calibrate your printer before using this, otherwise your pictures/text will be off center. This was a little discouraging because I just wanted to install the software and start printing. It took about 10 minutes to calibrate the printer so that it would work with my printer (an epson 777), but now it works just fine. It's great burning CDs and labeling them for friends; even though they don't look professional, they look a whole lot better than just the blank CDR with the company's name on it. This kit is a great deal.

Summary: Headache after headache!
Review: I had great expectations of this software and was sorely disappointed. Documentation and instructions are poor for using the graphics and palette; having to calibrate the printer to print on the Neato company's own labels from THEIR templates is totally insane and maddening--having to adjust them constantly, wasting paper and ink in the process. I would NOT recommend this product at all.

Review: I have used this product in my recording studio for several years.It installed and ran fine.I just bought the new version for no good reason,the old version works fine.I use this product 7 days a week and recomend it highly.

Review: I thought this was great.. And people act like it is sssssssoooooo hard to calibrate you computer! #1 I didn`t even have to calibrate mine so it shows that all printers don`t need ajustment. #2 It comes with nice labels but you`d better have a color printer or else they`ll come out in black and white (of course). #3 It may seem tough at first, but in the end it pays off. #4 There is great selection!

Summary: Overall, this product lives up to its name--NEATO!
Review: I was very impressed the moment I started using this product. The only complaint I have is that the graphics that come with the software aren't that impressive. To combat this, I take pictures with a digital camera and then use the pictures as a background for my discs and jewel case inserts. If you're looking for an easy-to-use system for labeling your CDs, this is the way to go. I recently made some music CDs for some of my co-workers, and they were thoroughly impressed!

Summary: Only bought because Imation Sonix stopped making their label
Review: No where near as easy to use as my old system ,But with trial and error can have a decent amount of control over your Projects.But one interesting thing someone mentioned earlier
is that regardless of with system you use these labels can alter
the way DVDs play making them stick and freeze and wondering if its the disks,burner or what..after some experimenting I did
confirm that it was actually the labels I was having so much fun making...It might be the weight but i think its possibly the way the beam shines through the disc and reflects off the white label backing..Dunno but if you all of a sudden start having problems try a labeling tape or a sharpie.
