Summary: Not sure if its worth it
Review: I believe the 5 star "glowing reviews" written immediately after the 1 star review are phonies. Anyway, the last one of these I bought with a factory new Brother drum. After a few months I am getting a black blob down the right margin every inch. Great! Now have to buy a replacement and noticed the regular cartride is almost $20 less and ships for free. So much for this overpriced "super saver". Oh, also, I was not happy with the thin amount of toner--too gray for me and not good detail. I want full, rich black thank you very much. Why print crap?

Review: I had the same problem with these cartridges as the other reviewer. I think this especially stinks since you are stuck buying Brother ink cartridges if you own a Brother printer.

Summary: Does NOT deliver the amount of copies the company promises
Review: I have owned the Brother HL-1240 Laser Printer about a year now. I have no quarrels with the printer itself, but the cartridges are a real pain.The first four cartridges I used the 3000-copy cartridge. They ran out really quickly, so I shifted to the TN-560 6000-copy cartridge. Here is the amount of copies I got on the four 3000-copy cartridges: 2000, 2500, 2500, 1900. This is the performance I've gotten on the first two TN-560 600-copy cartridges I've used: 4600 and ****2500***!!! For the latter, a black line appeared on the right side of the page after 2500 copies, making the cartridge useless, even though it still had ink. Tip for getting more copies from these Brother toner cartridges: you can often get an additional 300-500 copies after the red light on the printer starts blinking, indicating you need to change the toner. But it is very irritating having that light blink all the time. I am trying to figure out who I should complain to about these very poor product.... every single toner cartridge I've bought from them so far vastly under-performs--up to 40%--on the number of copies promised by Brother.

Review: I purchased this product January 13th. My charge card was charged the full purchase price within minutes. Still 2/9/4 and no produce. I have emailed American Solutions twice so far and not even a confirmation response let alone and answer. Amazone says I must wait 30 days well that is four days from now and I want my money back.

Summary: 4500 excellent copies...
Review: Some people complain about everything. As previous reviewers suggest, keep in mind your usage versus the 5% standard rating. If you like to print web pages, other graphics, etc., you will use up the toner in a hurry. That goes for any printer. I got 4500 + copies from my first cartridge, which was mostly text and some graphics. I am very pleased.

Review: To be fair, ALL cartridges are reated at 5% coverage. That means no more than 5% of the page printed with ink. Most reviewers fail to take this into account. In fact, most publications will constantly remind the readers that this is a non-real-worth figure.

Summary: Toner Saver saves 20%
Review: When considering the output of this cartridge, it's important to note that the printers it is used in have a toner saver feature. Using toner saver I have produced quite nice prints and managed to squeeze 20% more out of the cartridge.

Review: [Written 9/02] We have owned a Brother HL-1670N double-sided network laser printer for just over a year. We're just on our second TN-560 toner cartridge, so we don't have a broad experience base to judge against. However, the first one lasted 3,969 pages.. ..not bad considering how much graphics (B/W brochures, etc) we print. After the second cartridge was put in, there are random small marks on the page, maybe flecks of toner or paper just needs to be vacuumed out. Overall, this printer (toner/drum/etc.) has been one of the best office equipment investments we've made. [Update 11/03] Our second cartridge lasted 5,465 pages.
