Summary: Fabulous Prints
Review: After buying my photo printer this year, I bought 4 different packages of photo paper. I used one sheet of each to print the same picture in order to compare the quaility. I was amazed at how clear and sharp the picture was that I printed on the Canon paper. It looked just like the pictures that I used to have developed at professional photo studios. None of the other three even came close in comparison to Canon. They looked like they had speckles on the picture. Needless to say, I will be purchasing the Canon from now on. But I do agree with the other comment pertaining to the shipping costs of the paper bought on this site. You end up paying the same price as you would buying it at your local electronics store. Unless you bought in bulk off this site then it may be worth it??

Summary: Amazon Buyer Beware
Review: first off, the photo paper is amazing. my printing looks exactly as if I had it developed professionally. BUT--Amazon Buyers, Beware--you are not buying this paper through Amazon, but through Adorama Camera, so you will be charged far more in shipping than the couple bucks you saved by buying it here instead of a brick and mortor store. stupid to mention it? well, I assume there are other dorks out there, who, like me, will gleefully throw this in their shopping cart, expecting that the super saver shipping discount will make it their bargain of the week. so...be warned. Amazon's site design makes it obvious when you're buying through Eddie Bauer or Gap or such big vendors--but when it's a small distributer, it's merely listed in text. when there's so much other text on the page, I find it easy to ignore. Am I the only one this has happened to? hopefully someone out there will find this helpful and I won't look like a complete idiot not only for making a mistake when ordering, but then telling the world about my mistake...

Summary: Long lasting
Review: Good paper and last a long time (supposedly 20 - 30 years displayed under glass), but it is a little expensive. If I could make one suggestion - print something on the back so you know its the back. Kodak puts their name on the back side so its easy to see what side is supposed to go up.

Summary: Simply The Best
Review: I am using a Canon S30 Digital Camera and a Canon i850 Printer. The prints I get from the combination and Canon's Photo Paper Pro are truly spectacular. I cannot tell the difference between photos from a photolab and my prints.
I have tried other paper from HP, Epson and Kodak, but none have even come close in quality to the Canon paper.
Canon Photo Paper Pro is more expensive, but it is well worth the cost.
With Canon's S30 Digital Camera, the i850 Printer and Canon's Photo Paper Pro, I have freed myself of ever needing to go to photolab ever again !!!

Summary: Can't Tell Difference From Photo Lab and Canon Pro Paper
Review: I am using both the Canon S900 photo printer and the new Canon I850 Photo Printer. The Canon Photo Paper Pro, in both 4x6 and 8 1/2x11 sizes turns out awesome looking prints. I really don't have anything to compare it to as I have never used any other paper in my printers. But, I did see a test of an Epson 785EX printer in Best Buy and although the print came out (5 minutes later)looking sharp, it felt sticky to the touch and colors were fake looking.
On the Canon paper, I have enhanced pictures as far as contrast, color, etc and they really do look great. The shine is incrdible. The only thing is: 1) When the pictures print, sometimes they are a little lighter color after printing and you should wait a little while to see the true colors (it takes about half hour for it to cure to the actual final color)
2) The paper will tend to be more delicate than some other papers...scratchs very easily (no problem, print another one).
3) The photo paper pro is expensive compared to other papers out there...It is basically $8.95/20 sheets in 4x6 size. If you figure in tax, for me it's $9.50 per pack. On Amazon, they have the BEST deal on this stuff...It is currently only $6.04/package and free shipping...YOU CAN"T BEAT THAT...I have found it no cheaper anywhere else. HAPPY PRINTING!!!!

Summary: I never thought I'd print pictures...
Review: I bought a Canon i850 with the idea of using for a few color documents, mostly papers for school, and PERHAPS some pictures. The printer came with 5 sample sheets of this exact paper and so tonight I figured I'd give my printer a whirl and see how good it was. Well, I printed a picture of my brother and me and I was absolutely BLOWN away. I assure you there is VERY VERY little difference between a picture printed on this paper and something you get developed at the store. After seeing how incredibly good it can print, I've order 20 more sheets of this paper and I think I'm going to start printing a lot more. And some people say this paper is too expensive, but the way I look at it, I don't have to BUY film, just the paper so you can't just compare it to the cost of developing film and the secondly when I take pictures with my digital camera I only print the pictures I actually WANT and even then I can modify them to exactly HOW I want them! I don't think this paper is too expensive. Buy this paper!

Summary: Beautiful...
Review: I have always used Epson perforated 4"x6" photo paper to print photographs, but since I just got the Canon S9000 printer and started using the Canon Photo Paper Pro 4"x6" borderless - I've been amazed. Compared to Epson's paper, the Canon is the closest film developed on paper! The Canon paper is smooth, shiny and the colors are vivid. Without the perforations, the paper looks like it's developed professionally. Every package comes wrapped in a clear plastic sealed bag, and inside are the 20 sheets of photo paper along with a soft tissue paper to protect the first sheet, and a hard cardboard on the back to keep the photos nice and flat. The only problem is that the surface of the Canon Photo Paper Pro is that it's easily to scratch when rubbing against other paper or your fingernail. It's not too noticable unless you look at it in an angle in the light. But overall, it's the best paper for 4"x6" photos you want to print yourself! Great quality from Canon, I'm not buying Epson paper again.

Summary: Fabulous Prints
Review: I just bought a Canon s400 4.0 megapixel camera and the Canon i560 printer. I am amazed beyond my wildest expectations on the quality of the camera and the amazing quality of the prints that have come off this very moderately priced printer. I used the Canon photo paper plus glossy and am pleased to report my photos printed better than Ofoto or any other developer I have used. Gorgeous true colors. I had some left over cheaper paper and printed a few photos and the difference in quality was unbelievable. Definitely use this paper if you want the best quality.

Summary: Canon Photo Pro best paper for i850 printer
Review: I just tried three types of photo paper in my new Canon i850 photo printer. Canon's (recommended) Photo Paper Pro won hands down. No embossed look on the dark areas, beautiful smooth sheen. Quite close to the quality of professional developing. Kodak's Ultima Picture Paper for Inkjet Prints cost about the same, but produced much poorer prints. Darkest areas looked raised and dull. Worst of all: Compusa High Gloss Photo Paper. Ugh. Resembles color photocopies. I understand that various combinations of papers, inks, and printers create different results, so I make no broader claim for Photo Paper Pro beyond my specific printer. However, if you have Canon's i850, this is the paper you want. Worth the price.
