Review: It is bad enough that this printer is extremely tempermental, finding a toner cartridge is next to impossible. Keep plenty on hand since the chances of finding one at your local office store is slim.

Review: My friend had one of these and he was real happy with it, which prompted me to get one as well. (A rebate helped, too.) It's been four weeks and I'm quite happy with this no-frills laser printer. High quality build, and fast! The print quality is comparable to the HP Laserjet 4100 in my office. Loading paper takes a bit getting used to, but if you are familiar with inkjet's, I don't think this is a problem. I use the printer with Windows XP and the software options work great. I don't print that much, but I think this is designed for moderate printing in a home or SOHO. If you run XP, you can also set up XP's network printing so you can print to this printer from any PC in the house/office.

Summary: Disposable printer
Review: The 1250W does a great job of printing besides being fast and quiet. (I also have a Samsung ML-1210 and it is annoyingly noisy during and for a while after printing.)
I was very happy with this printer UNTIL it started printing spots and streaks on my pages. I, of course, tried cleaning accessible parts with a soft, clean cloth. No luck.
Then, I did the compressed air thing. No luck.
So, I replaced the toner cartridge, after cleaning the insides again. This was an expensive option, as the cartridges are expensive and the old one was not empty. Still, no improvement in the print quality. Still streaking.
And, yes, I also tried using the laser printer cleaning sheets (Staples brand). Used the whole package with no results.
I called the Konica Minolta customer assistance and the "reader" there told me that I needed some other, replacement part, labeled (1) on the insides. (BTW, my printer did not come with any manuals or schematics.) The replacement part costs over $100.00! At the price of the printer, I am better off using my other printer for important documents while using up the new toner cartridge on relatively unimportant stuff such as labels. Why waste the toner $$$? Besides, I have no confidence that buying the replacement part will solve my problem and then I am out another $100+ bucks.
I guess, as my old grandfather used to say, "Cheap is cheap." Next time I will invest in a better printer that is serviceable. Now to do the research. It's very discouraging for a small business owner who doesn't really have time for this.

Review: The 1250W Page Pro is a small, inexpensive, reliable, and fast. It is the one of the best buys in town. Although the upper tray is a bit awkward, the small size makes up for it. This is the perfect gift for a college student who relies heavily on their printer.

Review: This is a great printer for fast black and white priting - especially for the price.
One review says that the printer driver has virtually no options? Maybe the wrong driver is installed.
It allows multi-page on one page, helps with manual duplex printing (including a guide page) - has all kinds of option to set the contrast, brightness, toner-saver, etc... At least on Windows XP it works flawless - full funcationality also across the network (have multiple PC's here) - printer connect to one PC per USB and shared...
Automatic standby, quick warmup (7 seconds)...
Print quality is good but not perfect for pictures... Resolution of 1200x1200 is great for really professional looking text... Would buy again.

Summary: Windows GDI ONLY
Review: This is a Windows GDI only printer so it works pretty well for MS programs like MS Office. It is very fast. However, when I am printing the postscript files, the problems come. For the dvi-ps generated ps file, if one use the right paper setting, say US letter, it won't come out right. One has to use A4 which is the wrong setting and the printer won't go through till one presses that cancel button. So if you are basically working with latex instead of the MS thing, this is not recommended. If you are running a linux as well, you may not want to consider this printer at all since it won't work anyway.

Review: This printer's 17 ppm and 1200 dpi domnimates my previously owned HP LaserJet 6L and 3100 in many ways. Without saying, the printing quality is crispy. And to be environmentally friendly, I frequently manually duplex print my documents (auto duplex printers are so expensive.) HP Laserjet 6L and 3100 sometimes fed in two or three pages together when I printed the second side. This one has no such a feeding problem. Always one page at a time. The only drawbacks are its noise in printing and higher price of new toner cartridge (...) With a (...)rebate and (...)coupon, this is one of the best deals on internet.
