Summary: Best Buy for laser printer
Review: This a gem of a printer. It's very easy to setup and use: I've tried on a Win98 desktop and Win2K Pro laptop (both parallel and USB) and have had no problems. I currently have it on a print server so every PC in the house can use it. The toner saver feature still gives decent results. Once it warms up (nature of the beast for all laser printers), it spits out pages quickly compared to my inkjet. The unit is very compact and it actually cost less (after rebates) than the inkjet I bought last year. As for the cost of toner cartridges, it is in line with other lasers -- certainly much less cost per page than inkjet (I've already spent more on ink cartridges than the cost of the inkjet printer). The construction is lightweight compared to laser printers of old, but that's true of inkjets and other printers as well in order to bring costs down. The one complaint I have has been mentioned already: those stupid stickers are difficult to remove; but I attribute that to the marketing folks, so I'm not counting that against the quality and value of the printer.

Summary: good print quality, bad noise
Review: The printing quality is very good. No need to warm up. Catridge is among the cheapest (Amazon $63, CompUSA $70).
However, if it is not at stand-by mode, it makes terrible noise just like a working vaccum carpet cleaner.

Summary: great printer for the price
Review: I bought this printer a couple of months ago to replace my old inkjet. After looking at all the inkjets and the costly cartridges required, I decided to buy this laser printer. I use it mostly for printing text documents with a few images. The quality is very good and it prints quite fast.

This is an even better buy considering that the price has dropped substantially.

Summary: Big Electronics Consumer
Review: I purchased this printer for my church, had a lexmark inkjet printer and was constantly replacing cartridges the price of the cartridges for the ink jet was justifiable to purchase this printer. I love this printer for the cost, so much I'm purchasing it for my home business.

Summary: Can't believe it was this good
Review: I got as good quality out of this printer that I've gotten out of my HPs at work. And at home I got tired of using inkjets and being afraid a cold drink would drip upon the printouts and run.

For the price you don't get features like paper trays, this printer instead uses an angular feeder, but who needs them anyway?

Summary: samsung ml-1250 owner
Review: i bought a ml-1250 2 years ago and it is the best printer i've ever bought. this printer is faster and cheaper! its fast with excellent graphics and absolutely no driver problems like i've experienced with HPs, lexmarks and epsons(especially the usb printers). the printer is quiet and fast and the toner lasts a long long time. for the price this is the best printer deal ever. i'd even pay more than advertised here. plus free shipping! what else can you ask for? John Dvorak wrote about this printer in his column several months back and he agrees this is the best printer for the money. go out and buy this now before samsung gets more name recognition and starts raising prices.

Summary: Best BANG for teh Buck.
Review: This was an excellent deal and the quality and speed of the printed page was great. Only problem was the paper loaded switch broke 2 weeks after I got it, meaning it wouldn't print until fixted. That's why I only gave it a 3 star. If it did not brake, I would have givened it a 5 star.

Summary: Cheap, but mediocre quality
Review: This is one of the cheapest laser printers in the market. However, papaer jams happen all the time and the margins of the printouts are not aligned (my printer is only 1-month old). In retrospect, I should have paid more for a better printer.

Summary: Competent Value Priced Laser Printer
Review: Connected it to a computer running Windows 98SE OS. We had been using an ink jet but the cost of the ink cartridges had outstripped the value of the printer. Upgrading to a laser printer seemed economical at this point.

Setup was simple. It was easily recognized and our word processing program had no problem printing envelopes (a major issue with the prior printer).

We have a small but paper intensive business so this provided us with a good working laser printer for one work station at a reasonable price.

Summary: What a steal!
Review: This budget-priced laser printer is quiet and delivers your documents most expeditiously! Note to Macintosh OS X users: the latest driver can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website so you won't have to revert to OS 9 whenever you need to print. Hopefully this will save you some time and trouble, because there were no editorial comments or customer reviews before I purchased this! I selected four stars because there is a slight pause after issuing the command to print, but the pause is negligible and hardly worth mentioning.
