Summary: I've played all the Nancy Drew games!
Review: I have played all of the games. I first played Message in a Haunted Mansion which had great puzzles and the characters are really believable. Since then I have gone back and played all the older games and keep playing the new ones.

I only had one problem and there was a patch to download and it fixed the problem. There is a patch for the chunk error for all the games on there site so I don't know why that other lady could not find it.

Thank you her!!

Summary: The Best
Review: I enjoyed this game the most out of all the other Nancy Drew games! It is very addictive, because it becomes so interesting. Not only is it interesting and fun, but it's educational. Nancey Drew is a great role model for kids too. I'd say that you have to get this game.

Summary: "Treasure in the Royal Tower" promising, but with flaws
Review: "Treasure in the Royal Tower" was my fourth Nancy Drew game and my favourite so far. Out of the four games I've played ("Final Scene," "Secrets Can Kill," "Message in a Haunted Mansion, "Treasure in the Royal Tower"), "Treasure in the Royal Tower" had the most satisfying plot, interesting characters, clever dialogue, and the most cool places to explore.

Nancy is on vacation at a ski resort in Wisconsin built by an eccentric millionaire. The resort is built to look like a castle, complete with a tower that was imported from a chateau in France. French queen Marie Antoinette used to spend a good deal of time in the tower, and one of the hotel guests believes that the tower holds an important secret that could clear Marie Antoinette's name. When you arrive, a killer blizzard leaves everyone trapped in the castle, and the castle's library has been vandalized. Besides yourself, there are a number of suspects: Jacques, the Olympic ski instructor, Lisa, the photojournalist, Dexter, the caretaker, and Mrs. Hotchkiss, the eccentric Marie Antoinette scholar. As the game progresses you will learn a great deal about French Revolutionary history and Marie Antoinette in particular.

The locations in the game are varied and realistic: an imposing lobby, a comfy lounge with a blazing fireplace, the ransacked library, Nancy's room, castle corridors that lead to dead ends, twisty stone stairwells, an antique elevator, a shed, a secret garden and the Royal Tower. Along the way you'll slip along secret passageways, climb elevator shafts, and ascend into the Royal Tower to find Marie Antoinette's secret, but...BE CAREFUL. Someone doesn't want you to succeed in your search: you are deliberately trapped in the elevator, hit over the head, and locked outside to freeze to death. Only your quick thinking and detective skills can save Nancy!

Buyer Beware:
I *loved * this game, but I have to give it only three stars because I had HORRIBLE problems getting the game to run. It would crash constantly in the middle of conversations or leave me stuck at a certain point in a hallway before giving me an error message of "Invalid CHUNK file." I had to restart the game 25-30 times before I could beat it, and it would cause my computer to crash as well. There is no patch available on HerInteractive's website. I changed a number of settings and configurations and the problem didn't go away. The most frustrating thing was that it wouldn't let me beat the game: after the villain revealed their identity, a chase scene was supposed to follow, but the computer would never return control to me and the baddie got away every time. When I selected the "Second Chance" feature, the game would inevitably lock up and my computer would crash again. Very, very frustrating.

Summary: Great game!
Review: This is a really good game. There are alot of puzzles to figure out and characters were realistic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was a little too much like you are in a history class about the Maya but everything else about the game was great! I would definatly recommend you get this game!

Summary: TOTALLY AWESOME
Review: Once again, my daughter and I have solved another Nancy Drew case. It is really fun and adventureous. Once you start, you
cannot stop. These games bring you through all types of secret
passage ways, fixing motors on boats, finding birds, and all other types of things. We have told other friends about these
cd's and they are also enjoying them. Can't wait for the next
one.

Summary: Not very challenging
Review: This was the first Nancy Drew game that I tried. Compared to most of the other games in this genre this is not a very difficult game. It is probably aimed at children around the age of 10-12. The story is very nice and you do end up learning a lot about Maya culture, putting this game in the edutainment category. The graphics are way below par and the interaction is mostly Myst like. There is not much depth added to the game to make you feel for the character you are playing.

Overall it is a good game if you are taking a break from the tougher adventure games, and do not really mind the graphics and clumsy interfaces.

Summary: These games are highly addicting !!!
Review: What a wonderful format for gaming! These ND games just keep getting better and better. I find myself craving another one when I complete a game.

This one is particularly good because it is a challenge - more than the previous games. You have to use your head or you will never be able to finish it. The theme is also very well done - love the mini-history lesson in this game !!

Summary: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake
Review: My daughter, age 9, says "best game ever". We got to spend great time together solving this mystery. The game was really cool. When my daughter found out who was behind the mystery, she was shocked. Lots of cold winter nights and weekend days spent together. First thing my daughter did after homework was hit the computer. She was sucked in for sure. Five Stars says the expert (the nine-year-old).
