Summary: I like it!
Review: I ordered this printer to replace an Epson unit which died. The Xerox M750 assembled easily and I was up and running within minutes of installing the software. Unlike the Epson Stylus Photo 700, the Xerox unit printed immediately even after standing unused for two days. Color quality on printing a reproduction of a painting which I downloaded from the web was almost indistinguishable from a print of the same picture made on the Epson (much advertised) machine. I also like the separate color cartridges and the large black ink cartridge. I do much more black and white printing than color, but the color is there, quickly, when I need it.

Summary: What a workhorse
Review: I own this printer. I am extremely happy I went with this brand. No jams, no smudges, and would you believe it actually prints fast?! I was shocked. I use it to print up pictures of my grandkids - they come out Great!!! Couldn't be happier.

Summary: Best printer I've ever owned!
Review: I was at Staples looking at the new Canon printers to replace my old BJC-620, when the M750 caught my eye. I asked for a demo and bought the machine. Tried to set it up using USB connection: No-go. But the problem was in my HP8490 computer. Parallel setup was extremely easy. I have had a couple of false error signals, but nothing I can't live with. Fewer than with any of the Canon or HP printers I've had. The BW print is crisp and clear, was used to print registries for a worldwide military association. In fact, my boss and I were so impressed with this printer that we purchased one to use to print invoices at our office. The black and white quality of this printer is better than the $500.00 HP1220 Professional Ink Jet printer we own. I haven't compared the color quality yet. We are planning to purchase at least two more for the office. I would recommend this to anyone or any business that prints 100-250 pages per day.

Summary: Xerox makes junk
Review: I was elated for the first few months, but then I began having the same problem many people have with xerox printers... the paper feeding mechanism won't grab the paper. It won't go in. After much effort if you use heavy paper you can get one sheet at a time to go in but it is very difficult. Do yourself a favor and get a Hewlett Packard... Xerox makes some real junk.

Summary: Good quality for price...
Review: I was so impressed by the low price and comparable print quality of the M750 that I decided to try it instead. To date, I haven't had any problems with the machine and am quite pleased with its performance. It is a great piece of equipment for a home-based business or family-owned PC.

Summary: Took It Back !
Review: I went to Best Buy on Nov. 18th to buy a HP 932c. Xerox rep. talked me into this one. Printed about 50 pages then the print head clogged. Photos were all grainy. Freezes up constantly. It is VERY NOISY. Shakes the whole desk. Had to constanly unplug it to reset. Error" no printer connected to LPT 1." Called Xerox, they said the print head is supposed to last 2000 pages. Well, if you have to replace the print head every 4 times you replace a ink tank, then thats not very economical to me. I had mine 5 weeks, pleaded with BB to take it back even though it was more than 14 days old. The reason he did was because Xerox is gonna discontinue their "consumer printers". You will not be able to get ink, or heads for this one real soon. I bought the HP932c, $100 more, but well worth it. Very quiet, pictures are amazing. It took me a bunch of aggrivation and 5 weeks to get the HP I originally went for.

Summary: Bargain Printer for the Home
Review: Just got the Xerox M750 for my family for Christmas to replace a dead Epson Stylus 500. What a pleasant outcome! This very inexpensive printer was a snap to set up on Win98 with a serial port. The print quality is at least as good as the Epson with better speed. Plus, the paper handling is so much better (the Epson was really finicky). Based on the reviews I saw online, the cost of ink will be among the lowest on the market. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased.

Summary: Just say no
Review: Most of you may see the price on this printer, read a couple of good reviews on the product, and think that it's a great printer for it's price. If this is the conclusion in which you draw, then you will be sadly mistaken.

I've worked with several different printer manufacturers for several years now, and I have to say that I would not recommend getting a Xerox printer. Well let me rephrase that, I wouldn't recommend getting a Xerox Color Printer. Xerox makes excellent machines, just as long as they're laser machines. When it comes to the inkjet color technology, they just don't have what it takes. Their paper feeder system is useless, and their color quality on pictures is very poor.

If you're considering getting this printer for it's price, I have another recommendation. Go get yourself a Lexmark printer. Some people may not have heard of Lexmark, but most people have. They were originally IBM, but are now their own company. Their color qualitly is comparable to that of Hewlett Packard's 900 series printers, and most are relatively low in cost. A printer like the Z42 would be a much better buy.

If you have the money to spend, and you think you may be printing photos or high resolution pictures, then I'd recommend springing for a Hewlett Packard 900 series printer. One like the 932c provides the same printing quality as the top of the line HP, but doesn't have them same bells and whistles like the higher end ones do. Like it doesn't include double sided printing and infrared technology, but it gives you exactly the same quality of print.

I deplore you, please don't settle on this printer. You will be greatly displeased. Please review all the options before you make the purchase.

Summary: hardest printer to install I've ever dealt with
Review: Much too hard to install... I precisely followed the setup instructions, and am now on hour # 3 trying to achieve the online support promised with this product. As well, either one of the ink cartridges included with the printer is empty, or the indicator on the printer is not working correctly. Skip this one if intrigued by the low price and go for another model thay you can depend upon from previous experience!
