Rating: Summary: This printer is total garbage Review: The only reason I rated it 1 of 5 is that rating it below zero was not an option. I bought one of these disasters late fall of 2003. I bought it new not refurished. Now in Feb of 2004 it has died. It is the dorkiest printer I have ever seen. Even when it worked it printed several sheets at once and threw paper all over the floor. I ran out of color ink but still had black left. I only wanted black and white print but it would not print anything. Even if I switched the printer settings to black only it would print nothing. SO I went to buy new cartridges. By golly they were out of color. So I was stuck until I could find a store that had color. Changing the cartridges was dorky too. With HP printers, the process was obvious enough that I only need to read the instructions once. With the Epson I have to find the manual to find which button(s) to push to get it to move the print head out so I can swap cartridges. There are a number of unintuitive steps to the process. It seems to always be a half hour ordeal. Well, it is not a long process anymore. Now the "helpful" LCD display on the printer reads "General Error. See your printer documentation for information about clearing this error." There is no information on clearing errors at all in the documentation. I plan to clear the error by clearing this waste of plastic right out of my home.
