Rating: Summary: Great Color and Great Speed Review: After five years using one of the first color ink jet printers we decided to buy a new printer. The Epson Stylus Color 900 is everything we hoped. The color is spectacular, it prints very quickly, and is quiet as well. Our only wish is that the ink would be a little cheaper and that it would accept banner paper.
Rating: Summary: Well worth the money, great speed and color. Review: I bought this when Kinkos couldn't give me the results I needed for a special job. I had an Epson 700 but needed the increased throughput of the 900. What a great purchase. This thing pumps out fantastic color all day long. I've used it on several projects of more than a thousand sheets per run. It's paid for itself several times over when compared to what copy shops would charge.
Rating: Summary: Great Color and Great Speed Review: I waited a few days after buying my new Epson Stylus 900 to write this so that I could try the printer out in various printing projects. But I have to say that this is one COOL printer. It is a tiny bit noisy when it is preparing to print but once it gets the project started, it really flys. The quality is unbelievable especially in the photo reproduction but just plain black text looks perfect. I thought I had bad JPEGs...but I just had a old 300 dpi printer. It is such a leap from my HP Deskwriter that I could kick myself for waiting so long to spring the bucks for it. If speed is important definately buy the 900 (instead of the lower priced Stylus 740) but I'll bet that the quality is about the same. I have been printing at 740 dpi (not 1440) for my best quality. I bought this printer on the recommendations of other people on this amazon.com site so I thought I would return the favor.

Rating: Summary: Great Printer Review: I work at a school and have the 900N version of this printer. It is connected to the computer lab where it is the only printer that the students use. It is extremely fast and reliable. We bought it when it originally came out and have had no problems with it whatsoever. It is extremely fast and the photo output is amazing, I have seen no other printer in that price range that even comes close, although the plain paper printing could be a little bit better.

Rating: Summary: Buy it, If you think time is more important than money. Review: I wrote a review for this printer before, I didn't like it a lot back then, but now, I love it. It is fast, and it gives you full control over it, You can change your setting when ever you need to. The photo and B/W qualities are good, very good, even at speed.I am a student, I just wroe an 20 pages essay, and I had to print my essay for several times, and several copies each time. I felt so pleased with the printer, because it made my essay looked the best in the class, and this is going to effect my grade, because teach like to look at neat paper. and it was very very fast, too. everybody else in the class aasked me how come my paper loked so good, I told them :" Because I have the a epson Stylus top line printer."
Rating: Summary: Great Printer!! Review: I've been using an HP InkJet for several years. I can't believe how Epson has surpassed HP - the speed is fantastic, and the output quality is truely unbelievable. What a great price performer!
Rating: Summary: Great performance with significant annoyances Review: I've had this printer for over a year. On the plus side, this Epson prints very fast in both B&W and in color, and the printed pages and photos it turns out look great. On the negative side, two or three times a week, it has to go through a noisy and annoying one-minute-plus cycle to warm up before printing even one page, it needs head cleaning multiple times(done by an included software utility) about every three weeks which can take another three to five minutes of cycling or else I see gaps in the printouts, it runs very noisily when it is printing, and it goes through black ink cartridges faster than I'd like. Bottom line, when I have to do it over again, I'll go back to HP despite the high quality and speed of the Epson's printing, because my HP printers don't do the things that annoy me about the Epson Stylus Color 900.
