Summary: Wow!
Review: I recently bought the printer and my wife and I are very impressed with the quality of the photos we've printed with it (using photo paper). It was very easy to set up. Separate ink tanks are a plus. The ink on quality paper is said to last for 25+ years. I was looking at either the Epson C82 or this Canon S750... Decided on the Canon because of the replaceable print head. If it should ever become clogged, just replace it... We highly recommend this printer to anyone that is looking to print photos at a reasonable cost.

Summary: It's okay but not the greatest
Review: This printer was one of the better buys I've made lately. It is all around a good printer. My only complaint is that when I print out photographs using the software provided with the printer it pixelizes out, no matter how it looks on the screen. It is barely noticeable unless you really look close though. I would recommend this printer to amateur or casual users.

Summary: Works great under Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X
Review: I received my S750 a few days ago and have been quite happy. I run three different operating systems and setup was easy under all three. Mandrake Linux auto-detected it and, although there wasn't an S750 driver, I've been using the S600 one without problem. Windows and OS X setup was also easy. The utilies that come with it are good; it's quick and simple to re-align the print heads. The print quality is quite good considering the price and it prints text very fast (part of the reason I bought it). No problems as of yet. One grip: It doesn't come with any cables. Not a big deal (a 10' USB cable set me back 4 bucks), but it is an inconvenience. One would think manufacturers would throw them in.

Review: Super easy setup - great speed - fantastic color - can hardly believe that a printer at this price can put out such gorgeous photos. Get one now - you won't be sorry. I usually don't bother posting comments - that's how impressed I am with this printer.

Summary: Excellent Printer
Review: I bought this printer around the end of August '02 and I am very happy with it. The printer is easy to set up except for the instructions on how to align the printheads is a bit confusing. Once it was set up and the software installed the printer preformed flawlessly. Text is really fast and graphics come out fast as well. So far all of my printing has been done on "normal" quality and they look great. The individual ink tanks are helpfull so you can reduce waste. If you are looking for a great all-purpose printer this is the one to get. The printer does not come with a cable but if you have USB connections on your computer then Amazon sells a really great USB cable from Belkin ...(these thing are [more expensive] in stores) it comes in 6ft and 10ft lenghts.(I use the 10ft one) Amazon ASIN: B00000J1TX (6ft) or ASIN: B00004Z5M1 (10ft).

Summary: Nice printer but mine was defective
Review: Set up was easy, instructions clear. The first page I printed was part good and part totally messed up. Called customer support, wasn't kept on hold too long, operator was pleasant and sufficiently knowledgable. She diagnosed the problem as a defective "encoder." I returned the printer [company]. My impression from the test pages was that the quality of text and images would be fair to good but not great.

Summary: I loved it but it broke
Review: It's a great printer but after a month and not a lot of printing, it made a really bad noise and stopped working. Canon says I have to send it in to be repaired...not the answer I was hoping for. I'd buy another one if I knew the problem was just a fluke. It's fast, and the quality is really impressive.

Review: Sorry to tell you this folks, but you can shop and read reviews until your blue in the face but there is not a printer out there for this price that compares to this beauty so just get the money out of you pocket and buy it. It is fast, it is quiet, the ink is cheap, and it prints great photos and text. You won't be sorry.
I have always owned Epson's. Not anymore.

Review: This is the third printer I have owned and this is by far the best one yet! Very easy to set up, fast print speeds, excellent color and finished quality. Works quickly and quietly, only somewhat noisy when paper feeds--printing is much quieter. I love this unit and would recommend it to anyone for home use.
