Rating: Summary: Piece of crap Review: This printer worked great -- WHILE IT WORKED. I've only owned it for 8 months and it's already broken. I have to take it into a computer servicing station to have something or other with the ink cratridges emptied out and cleaned - whoever heard of such inconvenient nonsense? Canon customer service was really of no help to me whatsoever. They weren't rude or anything, but didn't help at all. I would have never bought the thing in the first place. Waste of time and money.
Rating: Summary: Great prints, very good quality Review: We bought the S750 as a "christmas gift" from my mother-in-law last year, and we're extremely satisfied with it. Our old printer is a MultiPass C530, and we constantly had problems with the print quality, and paper jams, etc. The S750 has a great print quality, and has never had a problem. We've had the printer for about 9 months and we're on the second black ink tank and the second yellow tank. We print a lot of high quality photos from our digital camera, and they look incredible. The ink lasts a long time and is not very expensive. It's a great purchase for a home printer. The high quality photos do print a bit slow, but it's a lot faster than taking them down to the local wal-mart for developing. :)
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Printer! Review: When they say 20ppm black and white, they mean it! The printer is amazing in quality and fast to boot...I'm not sure why they stopped making it! Anyway, good bargain if you can find it anywhere...the photos it kicks out with the photo paper in the box is great, and it's awesome just for matte white paper!
Rating: Summary: Truly Terrific Printer Review: This is an awesome home printer! Fast and intuitive, great quality. I'd like to see it have larger ink supplies (they're probably average) so I could use it on large printing jobs without running out of ink on one cartridge or another. I refill them, which really works well, but have to do it often, as I print at highest quality usually. On standard quality the printing is still better than decent and the printer uses very little ink. Software installed easy on my XP machine.
Rating: Summary: Print Head Problems Review: My S750 also stopped printing black. I had not used it in about 2 months, so probably the ink got clogged, but since the other colors printed fine, I think it's a problem with the print head design. Otherwise, when working it prints great.
Rating: Summary: Great Printer Review: This printer is a great buy. I purchased it and have yet to change the cartridges after a few months of moderate use. The cartridges are a great deal, cost per page is around 2 cents a page for black and 8 cents a page for color. The printer is very fast. The software is easy enough to install. My only gripe is that it's somewhat slow warming up when it's first turned on.
Rating: Summary: Great Printer Review: Is is the fastest, best priced ink jet printer I have found. I use it at work for typical printer, both color and black & white. It has been especially useful printing odd size stationary and envelopes, something the HP's do not do well at all. I bought it through the Amazon.com []and I am mad I did not buy about 5 for the office.
Rating: Summary: my favorite printer Review: I have recommended this printer to all of my friends and family. It is the best printer I have ever had. It is very convenient: never jams, ink cartridges are easy to change, prints different sizes of paper well. It prints black and whites quickly and quietly, and with premium picture paper, prints photos with extraordinary quality. I can't imagine that there is another printer out there of the same quality for a lower price.
Rating: Summary: Printer Heads Review: I bought the s750 within the last year, and it stopped printing black lnk. The Technical desk informed me after trouble shooting that the head was most likely bad. To my dismay when I took the printer in to an authorized service center there were three more S750 waiting for a new printer head. The repair tech informed me that he has repaired alot of the S750 series. Maybe a design problem?
Rating: Summary: Easy, quiet, fast, perfect! Review: When my Lexmark died over Christmas (never use those ink refills!) it was time to find a replacement. My priorities were value (of course), reliability, good output quality for everyday use, and most important of all maintenance costs. I studied reviews based on my criteria and the consensus was the S750. Too soon to say about the reliability, though I have no reason to worry so far. I assembled it in 3 minutes, installed and aligned it in 5, and so far so good. It's super fast and quiet, it even has an option to print in ultra-quiet mode late at night! The S750 is known for having ultra-low maitenance costs, with its super-value individual cartidges. I haven't had to replace any yet, but it will be nice to only replace the one that runs out, not all of them. If you have a USB port you should buy a Belkin F3U133-06 USB Device Cable (6 Ft). For the price you can't go wrong, 5 stars.
