Rating: Summary: A real little work horse Review: My previous printer was an HP2000, at the time I bought it, it was HP's new super printer. I paid [money] for it. Forced to change to meet the USB connection, bought the CX40UX. It ran day and night for me and turned out color just as good as my HP2000. Now it's a little behind the times technically but it's more than adequate for day-to-day photo and color requirements.
Rating: Summary: Noisy but nice... Review: One can actually get into the pleasant rhythm of the printer noise; this little unit works efficiently at its assigned tasks and the ink cartridges are cheaper than the HP, one of which I also own. However, to be fair to HP, I have not figured out how many copies I am getting per cartridge so the cost per print may be in the same range. Print quality looks to be the same as I am getting from my HP960Cse. The price is a bargain in anyone's book. No complaints here.
Rating: Summary: So SLOW Review: There are other printers in this price range that produce superior results with cheaper ink and faster speed - namely the Canon S330. I was never a big bubble jet fan, but they really have improved the technology on the Canono units. My S330 prints at twice the speed of this Epson unit (for most business uses), and the ink is a bit less expensive.I can't speak for photo quality, since that is not very important to me. Setup was easy on Windows 2000 Professional. Seems very picky about the ink level.

Rating: Summary: Asparouh Stefanov Review: This is a good printer. It's not expensive and it does the job just great. I needed quickly a printer to print several hundred pages and this one was a good choice. I finished a whole black cartridge for one day (about 200 pages for the first one and then close to 300 for subsequent ones), but I am very happy with final result - good quality at reasonable price. The printer is small, easy to use, software is OK - a good choice
Rating: Summary: epson stylus c40ux Review: This is my second C40UX - the first one stopped feeding paper - luckily it was under warranty, so Epson sent me another one. Lo and behold, a few months later, the second broke with the same issue! It is true, you get what you pay for - it was free with my Dell. It makes me mad at Dell for shipping such a piece of junk - I should have taken the extra RAM option!

Rating: Summary: So SLOW Review: This is the a horrible printer. I've had Canon and HP printers in the past and this one is the worst. The paper doesn't load right and it is ridiculously slow After less than a year, the cartridge sticks and I cannot get it to print straight.
