Summary: Disappointed, simply not reliable
Review: I had an HP printer for years, never had a problem. I've had this C-80 for 6 months now and it is nothing but trouble. Color rarely prints properly, 1-8 sheets of paper feed each time, the printer goes through ink like crazy, but it doesn't seem to end up where it is supposed to be on the paper.

Bottom line: a complete piece of junk.

Summary: Great Investment
Review: This printer is co cool! At first I was hesitant to buy it since saw some reviews that said that there was some kind of line on the prints, but I said I'll just give it a try, and I did. I could not be any happier. The prints are outstanding! When I use the PHOTO paper with the best resolution my prints look just like regular pictures (actually better). So if you're looking for a printer that is affordable and great print quality then you found it!

Summary: Wasted Ink, Paper, and Time
Review: The printer refuses to print higher resolution prints 99% of the time; especially if the image in large in size (W and L). I have only 3 photo prints in frames from this printer because it does not print the image 99% of the time. It will print at 360 dpi(more of the time), but at 720 dpi and especially 1440 dpi I get wasted paper and ink(lots of it). Part of an image will print; then, empty paper shoots through the printer, and then it resumes printing the image only partly (this abnormality repeats itself sometime several time). Most often I have several pages of the pieces of the partial printed image. I've cleaned and alligned the printer head many times with no satisfactory lasting result. I've had to return to my old Epson Stylus color 600 model to get any results. I've wasted my money, and I find Epson's support wanting (no email contact or 800 telephone support). Do not believe all the hype. I've had the printer over 8 months. My computer has 1 GB memory, and I'm computer savvy. This is my third Epson printer...it is sad they produced this boat anchor - I mean printer - I think that is what it is supposed to be.

Summary: Epson stylus C80 inkjet printer
Review: I admit that I am not an expert pertaining to inkjet printers but one does not need to be one to realize that the Epson C80 is an excellent printer. My Epson C80 prints perfectly clear colors as they are suppose to appear and it prints out extremely fast with virtually no noise. The added bonus is that it is inexpensive as compared to other printers. You definately will get more than your moneys worth if you purchase this printer.

Summary: Has locked up and can't get E-mail help
Review: I loved this printer when I first got it but now I am having problems and the only way to get help is through a 900 number! ... Should have a 800 number or an E-mail contact but I can't find it.

Summary: Either its a piece of junk or I have some bad Luck!
Review: I purchased the C80 about 3 weeks ago because of all the Great reviews it recieved from everywhere. I opened it up and tried to turn it on and nothing! The Power Button was broken. It simply would not turn on. Well I figured it was damaged during shipping or something. Mistakes happen. So, I exchanged it for another and this time the Power button worked just fine so, after I had it all set up I clicked the Print Icon on my Cpu and wow the the Paper pulled through to the left and jammed. So I tried again after getting the paper out and it jammed in the same way again and again and again! Finally a spring popped out from the inside. Well Obviously I had enough and am now getting a refund. I don't know. Maybe I have bad luck or maybe Epson is starting to have some Quality Control issues. I wouldn't buy an Epson product again.

Summary: Linux + WinXP + great color + fast B&W output
Review: Before this I got a Lexmark X83 all-in-one-box-that-doesn't-work. Returned it. Got this instead. Now I'm a happy, happy man.

Driver is non-obtrusive. Color correction for photo output and digital photos actually WORKS! Black and white print output is just freakin' fast. And it works fantastic with Linux, a huge plus in my book.

Right now it's a shared device on a Linux server, and my laptop and WinXP desktop can use it beautifully. Works fantastic on a network.

It's like a can of Pringles. Sure you pay a bit more, but just a smidgen. But what you get out is all the more worthwhile.

Summary: Great Printer At A Great Price!
Review: Installs easy and is very easy to use. It prints crisp, clear documents and pictures. The seperate ink units are a plus. The only downfall is the noisy paper advance.

Summary: Print heads get dirty easily
Review: It prints fast, it hasn't broken down on me, but I have to clean the print heads first every time it has been sitting idle for more than a day. Once the print heads are cleaned, it prints nice, otherwise it smears the ink as it makes passes across the paper with the print head. I'm guessing if you let the ink on the tips of the print heads have time to dry, they get clogged with dry ink. My HP OfficeJet doesn't do that, but I still prefer the Epson over the OfficeJet.

Summary: A Good Choice
Review: Nice printer,

Clear colours, crisp text, quiet fast operation. Good value for money, good ink cartridge life (the separate colours tanks are great) and overall, a really nice little printer that can handle high volumes well...
