Rating: Summary: This printer rocks!! Review: I still cant get over the superb quality of this printer. Ive had my C60 for about 6 months and love it. You really see this printer in action when you print on photo quality matte or glossy finish paper. Text is sharp and colors are wonderfull. If your an at home user and you have CD labels to make, photos you'd like to make duplicate copies of or a graphic artist you'll do alright with this printer! You cannot go wrong with this quality and price!
Rating: Summary: A real disapointment... Review: I've had this printer for a few months and had NOTHING but problems. I've had to reinstall the drivers 4 times, 3 of them were off the Epson site. It jams up all of the time, sometimes shooting out 40 pieces of paper at once. The print quality is MUCH worse that advertised. Often there are spots all over the paper and I have to reprint. Ink cartridges are $30 each, and only last about a month (and I don't print that much!). Once you factor in the cost of ink, this machine is REALLY expensive, and still prints at the quality of a cheap printer. Do yourself a favor, and get a Hewlett-Packard.
Rating: Summary: I love my stylus C60 Review: I had done some good research before I decided to buy the stylus C60, and for my needs it is the perfect model. Even for a person with their first computer and printer it is a piece of cake to hook up and use, and I'm no youngster. It is quiet and very fast. I can't wait to come home and use it everyday. It is for my own personal use and can't believe the professional looking letters that I can make.
Rating: Summary: Speedy but Expensive in the long run. Review: To be honest i'm not very happy with this printer, not because it's performance and speed, it is because the cost in the long run.Acoording to PCMAG this machine is one of the fastest printers in the market today, (if you buy it and put your first sheet of paper and press the print button you will know what I mean) the paper is almost spit out of this little machine. But at 10 cents per page the ink investment per year (About US$250) is too much. If I have another chance to buy a printer again I will buy the Epson C80 or the Canon S500 witout a doubt.Best Christian
Rating: Summary: Cheap and acceptable Review: 1. low price 2. decent quality 3. fast enough but not as fast as boasted 4. ink runs out more quickly than claimed 5. really noisy so that i dare not print after midnight
Rating: Summary: Cartridges are expensive and tiny Review: Yes, the printer is certainly noisy and shakes the table underneath it. It makes nice copies, but the ink ran out so fast! The cartridges are very expensive and hard to come by--as a matter of fact, because the ink ran out so fast and I had to wait on more cartridges--it brought my home business to a standstill for three days. If you buy this printer, buy a box of cartridges to go with it--you'll need them.
Rating: Summary: Great printer for the price! Review: I wanted a Mac-compatible, fast, good quality printer for home use and got it all with the Epson Stylus C60! All the reviews that warned about noise braced me for it, so that when I first turned it on I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't any noisier than the Apple Stylewriter it replaced. I didn't realize, however, that two-sided printing was an "extra" feature on printers. Since this one does not have that feature, I am giving it a 4-star rating rather than a 5-star which it deserves.
Rating: Summary: Good printer Review: I like the printer except it seems to use ink quickly. We have owned the printer less than 2 months and have replaced the ink cartridges 2 times already. We have printed some things but I don't feel as if it has been enough to use 2 entire cartridges. Besides that we enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: C60 Prints beautifully but ..... Review: I was disappointed in this printer. It makes outstanding color copies. However the cartridges are very expensive. Each one contains a microchip, I think to measure the ink suppy. Because of the microchip there are no generic cartridges available. The cartridges supplied with the printer are designed to initiate the printing process and appear to contain very little ink. If you plan on buying this printer, plan on buying extra cartridges right away. Three cartridges (color or black) will cost you about the same as the printer.
Rating: Summary: It's a noisy one Review: I'm very happy with the speed and quality of this printer. On a Macintosh, the software is simple and efficient. For the astonishingly low price, you get very good results. But the noise comments posted are completely true. I bought this as a replacement for an Epson Stylus 740, which I would hardly have called quiet, but even so I was still pretty surprised at the clatter and bang this thing produces. The good news is that the noise doesn't last long -- a typical black and white spends only about three seconds in the actual printing -- but while it's going on, you'll swear Jerry Lewis is unfolding a deck chair nearby.
