Rating: Summary: The little printer that could Review: This is a pretty decent printer. I've had it for 2 years now and it hasn't given up yet, through term papers and lab reports and printing out all kinds of random things. It even did a great job for t-shirt transfers. It's pretty speedy compared to similarly-priced inkjet printers. Couldn't really ask for more, unless you want to spend the money on a laserjet.
Rating: Summary: don't buy this one Review: This is the worst printer that I have ever used. The cartridges are too expensive and have to be exchanged far too often -- the customer service people recommended that I use the printer every day to keep the nozzle and print heads "fresh". They told me that if I was going on vacation to have someone come in and run off a sheet of print every few days! Now I've come home from the store only to find that in the week it took me to get a new cartridge, that the nozzle is clogged and my colour cartridge is too empty to perform a cleaning. Don't buy this one. I'm switching back to Canon -- better performance, cheaper ink.
Rating: Summary: you get what you pay for Review: Allegedly, this printer is for those who don't really care about the color printing aspect but want the speed of a laser printer for printing documents. However, it carries a lot of baggage for its poor photo printing capabilities. The thing is huge, clunky, loud, and takes up to two minutes organizing its heads every time you turn it on or give it a command, even for document printing.Still, all of this may be a small matter for the price. My real vendetta against this machine--and one recent buyers won't have predicted in their reviews--is that I went through two in a year. In both events, neither the company representative or the store where I bought it could figure out why it stopped working, and in both events, whatever the reason was, it seemed to be the same. The red light signaling a paper jam went on and wouldn't go off, despite there being no paper jam. My warranty covered the replacement of the first one, but after the replacement broke in the same way I decided it wasn't worth the hassle of replacing it. (You have to go through an arduous process of proving to the company that you didn't break it yourself, and then they make you pay to ship the broken one back to them.) My advice is to respect yourself $$ or $$ dollars more.
Rating: Summary: Epson Stylus C60 - not the printer for you Review: I bought this printer about six months ago. I bought it because of its price and it was my mistake. I have a digital camera and I print a lot of pictures. Print quality was poor when I was printing pictures with high contrast. Pictures didn't look very realistic and were blurred. On the other hand I was satisfied with black and white documents. Cartridges are pretty expensive (about $...) and last for about one to two months. I wasn't the only one using it though. My whole family was using it and we printed a lot of stuff. Paper feeding was good, paper jammed very rarely. But I had a problem with software. Sometimes it would tell me that there is a paper jam, when there was none. The box included printer, CD with drivers and instructions, owner's manual, black and color cartridges. On the CD I found only one program - EPSON Software Film Factory Lite, which I didn't like very much. For beginners EPSON included movies that help you get started with your printer. Another drawback was that EPSON didn't include a cable. You can use either USB or Parallel ports. If you want wireless printing you could buy a bluetooth adapter. I liked this option very much. The cable costs about $...-$..., so it was a major drawback.
Rating: Summary: The Worst Printer Ever Review: I read some good reviews of this printer that said it was a good quality, inexpensive printer, but it has been nothing but trouble since the day it arrived. It was difficult to install, it often grabs more than one sheet of paper, and the print quality is terrible--the color nozzles are always misaligned, and even running the automatic cleaner does not fix the problem--the only result is that it runs out of ink. I cannot print pictures on it, which was the main reason I bought it. After suffering with it for about a year, I'm giving up and buying a Canon. I do not understand the wide range of reviews of this printer. Some are very positive, and some are abysmal. I wouldn't take my chances on it--stay away from this printer!

Rating: Summary: Worst Printer - Do Not Buy It!! Review: I purchased this printer and since the day I received it has not worked perfectly. It printed lines through everything I printed. I waited until I replaced the ink cartridges to call Epson. Once I knew the problem was not the ink, I called Epson and they sent me a replacement printer. The second printer performed the same way with white lines in photos and text that I printed. After talking with another Epson customer representative who promised the printer does not perform that way, they sent me a third replacement printer. The third printer I admit was better, however, the quality of the print outs are still very poor. I'm going out this weekend to purchase a new one and it won't be an Epson!
Rating: Summary: An exercise in frustration and disappointment Review: I have worked many different kinds, makes, and models of printers in my life, but I have never worked with one so impossible to load with paper as this one! The paper tray doesn't seem complex, but it constantly rejects sheets and feeds them through again and again. It can take 10 to 15 attempts to print one page of a document. Additionally the color on our fourth print was very uneven and streaky, particularly if we tried to do any blocks of solid color (small, large, it doesn't matter). We bought one for the office a week ago and already everyone has called it a piece of junk.
Rating: Summary: Canon c60... great bargain Review: This is the 2nd C60 I'm buying... this time as a present. Great color photos on glossy paper and inexpensive to operate. Good value / rated very highly as a best buy by Consumers Reports. Good speed. I also have an Epson C80 which is much quieter, faster, and a little more expensive. The C80 is amazing with matte finish photo paper... it has a 4 ink cartridge system vs 2 ink cartridges in the C60. Both units are refurb units. The truth about refurbs: they can be better than new because they are retested in the factory by more qualified technicians. Very happy with both the C60 and C80.
Rating: Summary: Ugh!! Don't even think about it!! Review: Hi. I own one of these wastes of space. I was given it as a gift and it is the worst thing I have ever owned. I have to run the head cleaner and nozle cleaner at least once or twice ever couple of weeks. This is something that you sould only have to do every few months, not nearly this often. Plus the printer ink is very expensive. Please get a cannon or hp. At least those printers work well for a longer period of time!
