Rating: Summary: Great inexpensive printer Review: The HP 920c is a great low cost printer for the home or small office. Don't let the low price fool you, this guy does it all. I compared a full color photo print out with my HP 882 (2 years old) and the photo-like quality was superb. The set-up was a snap as the software guides the even newbies out there with fool-proof installation. This is a very quiet printer and the speed, not exactly super fast (want speed, buy a more expensive model!) was very good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the limited 90 day warrenty. One tip if I may, use a USB connection for faster printing as the parallel connection is very slow to print in Best photo-quality mode.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: The HP deskjet 920c is an excellent printer. And the price couldn't be better. It's fast and easy to use, and the picture printing quality is equal to the more expensive printers. I do alot of printing for home and business use and this is the best printer I have purchased yet. I only wish I purchased this the first time around! As for photo printing, I take alot of photos and print them out for family and friends. They all seem to have the same comment...."Your photos are so colorful and clear, who develops them"? They can't believe I printed them out myself. I recommend this printer to everyone who wants quality, without a hefty price tag! Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: HP 920c Printer Review: The only thing that kept me from rating it 5 stars is the fact that the initial setup didn't go as smoothly as it should have. It is so quiet that you very literally have to stand next to it to tell if it's printing. The print speed is fast enough; it's not extremely slow. This is not the model to get, however, if you're looking for lightning speed. I use a parallel port connection, so that is probably why there's a slight delay in getting the print information to the printer. The print quality is OUTSTANDING! I only print photographs once-in-a-while, so I didn't buy the machine for that, but you can! Even on regular paper, the printed photographs don't even look computer generated. After set-up, I'd give this printer a 5 star rating. It's a definate value for the money. I doubt the more expensive models would do much better.
Rating: Summary: Piece of JUNK ! Review: The warrantee is only 90 days. Mine [stopped working] at 100 days. The processor inside went nuts. Avoid this model, if not HP, like the plague.

Rating: Summary: --= This HP: Best In Price =-- Review: This HP is the best value in printers. I shopped, & shopped again. What I discovered is this -- there is no better buy out there! There are other good printers -- make by the folks at Epson. These generally: 1) Cost More: To Gain The Same Features. 2) Have Inferior "Build Quality." 3) Are Earsplitting: In Comparision. 4) Have Much More Expensive Ink Cartridges. *** No such complaints with my HP *** Seting this HP up was a snap -- even for me?! Lastly, Just purchas this HP & SAVE SOME MONEY. :-)
Rating: Summary: My gosh- what a nice surprise! Review: This is a great printer! It's compact, quiet, was a breeze to set up and the print quality is outstanding. Letters look as if they have been printed on a laser. I have not experienced any of the "warm up" problems stated by another reviwer. I love the tray set up as it allows the printer to be set up against a wall which saves even more space. My cat slobbered on a newly printed document right out of the tray and the ink did not even smear. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Printer For Good Price Review: This is a very dependable printer. My last 5 printers have been nothing compared to this one. HP has done a good job here!
Rating: Summary: Very pleased Review: We are extremely happy with the purchase of this printer. The cost was low and the quality is very good. I think it makes for a good home printer.
Rating: Summary: Yes...we like it! Review: We've had it for almost a week. It installed perfectly the first time on Win XP. The images are sharp and the detail is perfect. The first times, it printed a little dark, but you can adjust all that in the software. Its simple, no "bells and whistles" to break down or mess up, and so far has printed on everything we have put in it. Oh..its a little slow, but this is a home, not a business..and no one has yet fallen asleep waiting for anything to print...its fast enough for us. My only concern is the 3-month warranty, indicating that HP doesn't have alot of faith in its longevity. But then again, an extended warranty can be cheaply purchased from wherever you buy it. We tested all the printers in the store that we could, and this one really put out the best for the money! We recommend it to anyone who wants a good printer for a very reasonable price.
