Summary: A very short honeymoon
Review: When I first got this printer, everything seemed great. The print quality was astounding. But soon, problems developed. I had the same exact problems that another reviewer, Justin, had with his earlier model Epson. The constantly clogging print heads are a nightmare. In addition to his comments, I would like to note another annoyance to the cleaning process: Even if only one color is clogged, you have to waste ink cleaning all the colors, including black. So, if the red has streaks in it in the test print, the only way clean it is to run the cleaning utility that uses black, yellow, and blue ink as well. That would be fine if it needed to be cleaned occasionally, but it constantly clogs and needs multiple cunnings of the cleaning utility to get clean. I have literally used half of the cartridges' ink just to get it clean! The manual even notes that if it doesn't clean after FIVE attempts, you should turn it off and WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW to try again! It's printing by appointment only! If this printer just worked, it would be great. It works for awhile, which is where I think the good reviews come from; however, if you use it for more than a month, you too will daydream about smashing it with a sledgehammer.
