Rating: Summary: Go Generic Review: This is a good printer for the money. Yes, the Epson cartridges are much too expensive, but I have had excellent service from low cost generic cartridges, At this price who cares about possible voiding of the warranty. One continuing problem is with paper jams. The feeder is quite sensitive.
Rating: Summary: FAST!! FAST!! TERRIFIC PRINTER!! A MUST BUY!!! Review: This is a MUST BUY printer. I have and love the C-62. In fact I bought another Epson Stylus C-62 Printer for my daughter in college. Waiting on delivery for another one for my other daughter in college!! This is a FAST, FAST Epson Printer!! The ink cartridges I use last an extremely long time! It readily accepts the Generic Ink Cartridges that I use and I buy them for $6.95 for Black and $7.95 for Color at www.PrintPal.com with FREE SHIPPING, no minimum. And these ink cartridges are every bit as great as the real Epson Cartridges. I also use the CHEAPEST copy paper I can get and -0- promblems. BUT FOR THE EPSON STYLUS C-62 INKJET PRINTER.........IT IS ABSOLUTELY 100% MAGNIFICO!! IT IS A RELIABLE, FAST FAST PRINTER, WITH TERRIFIC CLARITY IN COLOR AND B&W!!! THIS IS A TERRIFIC PRICE AND YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY IF YOU BUY IT!!! AND ONE OF THE BEST PARTS IS........IT COMES WITH THE PARALLEL CORD!!! AND ITS A GREAT BUY!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Excellent printer Review: This is an excellent injet printer for the price..it prints beautiful pictures in no time
Rating: Summary: Great quality and value Review: This is not the fastest printer, the quietest printer, or the one that will output the highest quality prints, but it is probably the best value around. I have used a ton of ink-jets in the various companies I have consulted for on a technical level and when it came time for me to replace my HP Deskjet 812C, I decided to go with Epson. Here's a few things you should consider:1) Epson is a good name in inkjet printers from their low-cost home solutions to their wide-format publishing machines. I have used and repaired a ton of HP printers including the DJ400 to the DJ930C. My impression is that their quality has fallen seriously and their ink cartridge replacement costs have skyrocketed. 2) Sure, its not the best photo-quality and text speed, but it is probably the best in both categories for the money. I found the print quality to far exceed my previous HP deskjet in text and photo quality. It prints good photos, but is not a replacement for a real photo printer or having your prints done professionally. 3) It is not quiet. If that's a big deal to you, you might look elsewhere, but for me it was not a problem. My last major test of this printer was doing business cards for my home business. I am very impressed with the quality of the graphic and how crisp the text turned out. There are actually cheaper printers out there, but none that will last you very long or print as nicely. If you are looking to get a great printer for a great price, and don't care that it is not the fastest and best, then I don't see how you can go wrong with the Epson C62. Oh, and one reviewer mentioned that the cartidges are difficult to install??! Let's just say that there are a few people out there who are still trying to put the round peg in the square hole.
Rating: Summary: C60 was a waste of money & time Review: This is really a review of the prior model, the C60...so take it for what it's worth. But the c60 has been a constant frustration since I bought it about a year ago. I'll just list the problems: 1. Print heads are ALWAYS clogged. Often it's the black head, but the color heads are often clogged two. Worse yet, the cleaning process does not always clean them. In fact, about half the time it makes them worse, or it will make the clogged head work but then will make another head go bad. 2. All pictures printed with the printer have poor color, always very heavily tinted red. Through a lot of trial and error, I've been able to make them look decent, but it's never quite right. 3. Since I had a few cartridges that I managed to use up in after about 15 pages of printing (mainly due to the constant cleaning process I've had to do to even get anything to print), I decided to try refilling cartridges. However, Epson has apparently (for purely economic reasons, of course) installed that chip that's on the cartridges not to allow users the convienience of knowing how much ink they have, but instead to prevent users from refilling cartridges! The printer will not run if the cartridge chip thinks it should be empty. The head cleaning is the worst problem. Every time I use it I have to run head cleaning 3-4 times(!) just to print a legible document...I'm not talking photos here, I'm talking text! Sorry for the rant, but I urge you to take your money elsewhere if you are considering this printer.
Rating: Summary: Good Printer For The Price Review: This printer is actually quieter than the other Epson Stylus Printer I did have, not the fastest, but ok pictures when you print in color, in fact, better than I thought they would be. All in all, an ok printer for home use.
Rating: Summary: Avoid unless free Review: This printer is in a word annoying. It loud and takes forever to actually begin to print a page. Once it begins to print it is not uncommon for it to get a paper jam. And the paper can be difficult to load if you have the printer in a spot where you can't clearly see the back. I wouldn't suggest going through any effort to buy this printer.
Rating: Summary: Great printer. Review: This printer is one of the best i have ever had, it prints pictures with outstanding photo resolution. It also prints at high speed and has many features, Compare this to and hp well lets just say there is hardly any comparision. This printer has high dpi out put and prints beautiful photo quality pictures and the ink it dirt cheap compared to the hp and the ink lasts allot longer even if your printing photo pictures. To anywon who is considering and hp i would buy this over them any day. This printer also has options for wirless communications, and other such things.
Rating: Summary: disapointing Review: This printer looks pretty good and is cheap, it prints pictures at a very nice quality, and an ok speed. This is all the good stuff I really have to say but the truth is, I think that this printer is a horrible. This printer is basically a cheaply made printer, that only accepts the expensive ink made by espon. There are cheaper inks that it will accept but if you try this is what will happen. The printer will print a paper that you wanted to print. Then the next time you want to print something it says it's out of ink. Althouh you just put in a new ink cartrige it says your out. It will say you have inserted this ink cartrige incorectly so you try it another way, and then a piece of plastic comes shooting out of the printer. This printer worked fine for the first 2 or 3 months and then it stopped working ever since. You may think that this isn't that bad and that if you buy the espon ink it will work fine. Well I guess that can be true but what you do need to know is that every time you print something a window apears on your computer that you can't exit out of untill you finish printing. If the printer doesn't print it will stay on even if you restart you computer. If your the kind of person who leaves your printer on all the time you should know that when you turn on your computer it will make a huge loud noice that can be heard through another wall. This will also happen if you turn it off and on again. What I basically have to say is that if you read about this printer and try it out you will think it's pretty good, but overtime you will end up disapointed, after you can't print anymore. Before you should buy this printer you should check out other brands for a more satisfying product. Overall I have to say that this printer is ok, but could be allot better.
Rating: Summary: Junk! Junk! Junk! Review: This printer only worked for about 2 months, before I kept getting a message that the paper was jammed, but there was no paper jammed!!! I tried again and again to fix it, nothing worked. If you want to waste your money, and you enjoy getting very fustrated, then buy this Junk!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!!!
