Rating: Summary: Good printer but note the cons Review: I bought this printer in February 2003 ... after discount and bonus. I kept track of the number of copies I achieved from the second black & white cartridge (the first uses more ink while the new printer is setting up). From this second cartridge I got a total of 400 black copies including 75 in "economy" mode... So, it cost me 6.25 cents per page. However, one has to add the price of part of of the color cartridge since even while printing with black some of the color cartridge is used by the printer e.g when it cleans the print head. Although I made only 21 color prints since I got the printer six months ago, the color cartridge is getting low... So all in all, I figure that the black printing cost me about 8 cents per page. Print quality is very good, and for color and photos it is excellent. The printer is fast when actually printing (there is periodic cycling time for print head cleaning). It is noisier than other printers, but although I am very sensitive to noise I don't find it as annoying as other reviewers have observed. But I wouldn't want to be in a room with more than one C62. When placing envelopes care must be taken that the slide is tight against the left side of the envelope or the address might come out slightly crooked. For placing sheets, I find the C62 slightly more inconvenient than it was in my old Epson 740. Since I use several different letterheads and qualities of paper, I am constantly putting 8.5 x 11 sheets on and off the machine. My 740 was a snap, but on the C62 I sometimes have to fiddle a bit more to get the paper to lay properly. That is no problem for someone who uses the same paper most of the time. Overall, I am satisfied with this printer even though ink usage appears higher than I would like. I don't know how other printers stack up against the price figures of my estimate.

Rating: Summary: Would not recommend Review: I bought this printer two years ago and it seemed noisy and erratic from the beginning. The cartridges seemed to run out very fast and were quite expensive. Now I will be buying a new printer as it has a hardware problem that is not worth fixing.
I would recommend spending the extra money for a better printer. You will avoid chasing good money after bad later on.

Rating: Summary: Photos Have A Pink Hue Review: I had a wonderful old printer that gave me the actual color that was shown in Photo Studio. It finally took the big dump. Then I bought this printer. I have never been so frustrated in my life. No matter what I do, my photos come out with a pink hue. Photos of faces look sickly. I did go into the advanced settings, but I am no photo genius, so I was not able to figure it all out. But heck, I don't want to have to fool around with the setttings every time. I just want a printer that does not print with a pink hue, ever!!! HELP!!!!
Rating: Summary: Not Happy With Epson Printers Review: I have an Epson Printer like this model at home and at work. I am very dissapointed. The printer won't work if the color cartridge is out even if the black is full. The ink is not cheap and doesn't last long enough. The printer is loud and does a lot of set-up before printing which takes extra time. A print manager screen pops up each time which is a pain if you are printing one document right after another. The economy or draft print is very poor quality if you are trying to save ink and time, so not worth using. The paper jammed on my printer at home and now it won't feed. The warranty is up of course. At work I need to print a lot of envelopes, and if they are not the perfect thickness they won't feed at all or feed half way and then have to be ejected manually. Over all if the print nozzles are clean this printer can print fairly good quality photos--but very slowly. However the nozzles seem to get dirty fast, and the banding occurs. It takes several attempts to clean the nozzles which wastes a lot of ink. The only thing I do like is the fact that the print manager can show you how much ink you have left, but don't change them until it doesn't print anymore--because there is more left than they tell you.
Rating: Summary: My Epson Stylus 740 gives me better quality pictures. Review: I just bought this printer from a local store because of price, bonus and rebate. The salesman said it would be better than what I have. It does not compare to my Epson Stylus Color 740 in photo quality. The test photos on the C62 are fuzzy and face color is off. I printed out a greeting card I just recently did on my 740 and the picture was better but not worth going and buying this printer. The resolution might not be there with my 740 but the clarity, quality, and color are so much better.
Rating: Summary: Fast Speed! good Quality! what else do you want? Review: I just got this today, because my epson stylus color 660 broke down on me, So I decided to get an epson Printer because I was used to always owning an Epson. I bought the Epson c62, and was amazed with the quality and speed. It is awsome, printed a page with pictures in less then 6 seconds. Im telling you it is fast.
Rating: Summary: Great Printer/ Hard to replace the Ink Cartridges Review: I love my printer. It is quick, good quality and easy to install. BUT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO REPLACE THE INK. Don't know if it is just not catching on or what, but COMP USA is it, so far.
Rating: Summary: BIG GREG Review: I not an expert on printers ,but the Epson C62 is just right for me.If you are looking for a printer that does all basics just fine, then this is a excellent choice. I have read reviews that said this printer was noisy, I found it rather quiet compared to my old Canon BJC 240L, I'm not trying to win any awards with my photographs, so I'm very pleased with the job its done so far ,Then the best part you can purchase the Ink cartridges for around 6 Dollars each, color or black right here on Amazon.
