Rating: Summary: Best Buy Review: I've had my Lexmark X5150 printer for a little over 3 weeks and couldn't be any happier. It prints the most beautiful photos, best text and doesn't have to be connected to my computer. It's won me over to strictly Lexmark from now on. Thanks Lexmark.
Rating: Summary: Unstable, unreliable, no customer support Review: I've had my X85 for a while and would not recommend it. Although functionality is excellent there are recurring problems getting it to communicate with the PC (I have a Dell Dimension 8250 running XP pro). The drivers out of the box did not work. Installing new drivers + patch fixed most problems but I still have to reboot too frequently. Go to the Dell forum to see all the complaints about this printer (Dell made the mistake of recommending it!). Many, many people have this same set of problems.

Rating: Summary: Lexmark X85 all in one printer Review: It works well with XP. The color quality is great. I've enlarged pictures and the color is the same as the original photo. Also I like the new features. Quick print and it has a maximum photo setting. Plus the reduce and enlarge features.
Rating: Summary: Great Product. Review: Never had a printer quite like it!!!! This thing does EVERYTHING!!!
Rating: Summary: Box of Junk. Review: Nothing but problems, poor tech support and software that is not friendly. There are many fine multipurpose printers out there, this is NOT one of them.
Rating: Summary: Nothing but trouble Review: The first one purchased was so much trouble even Lexmark said it was defective. The exchanged one was no better - wouldn't print more than one page before developing communication errors. Even tried doing a clean install of windows 98 on the computer with no improvement. Not at all impressed with this mfc.
Rating: Summary: Unstable, unreliable, no customer support Review: The idea of an all-in-one is a good one; I loved the idea of being able to make copies of documents without engaging the computer, BUT this is not the printer to rely on, or the company to buy a printers from: at the end of the warranty period, the printer made a loud noise and quit working. I went on-line to Lexmark customer support and sent an email describing the problem in detail. Months have gone by with no response. Like another reviewer said, this is a disposible printer. It was also inconsistent about computer printing and seemed to have trouble switching between modes. I have Win2k professional.
Rating: Summary: Very good and simple to work and it talks to you. Review: The X85 it talks, it makes very good picture prints, black is easy to refill, color not easy, has highest resolution I've found and better than X83, the previous modle. It cost least as a new modle than others for "all in ones" print/copy etc. A few not so bad considerations include the non-print space at bottom of page 1/2" is blank and side borders 1/4". This can sometimes be a problem but can be managed; others are even around sides 1/4". It will print off line and you have to restart the computer to get copy. If two printers running on one computer the Lexmark will not act as primary printer and it is more difficult to reset the default settings to become primary but like all printers you must have that printer plug in at startup, turning on computer while other not in line. It takes ample time to learn the techicals having two printers on one system. Overall, the X85 is a fun product and carries larger ink capacities than most brands, but can cost slightly more. It will handle all systems within the past 5 or so years. As the real old systems I'm not sure and not sure about systems with CD/DVD"(+}". disks.
Rating: Summary: THE LAST PRINTER or SCANNER I'LL EVER BUY Review: This is my 3rd Lexmark printer in the last 3 years - i've upgraded all my previous printers because of my growing experiences with computers, digital cameras, etc. Every one of my Lexmark printers I've been pleased with the speed, quality and performance - never had a single problem. I started looking at replacing my Z53 when I realized I needed a scanner (and a copier would be nice also). This Lexmark Z85 All-In-One printer had the most and best options (ie - computer doesn't need to be turned on to make copies). this printer is fast, has excellent quality, and has all i'll ever need and more. Also, it's not eating the ink cartridges - I do alot of "photo" pictures and the ink levels are hardly being touched - very pleased with how long the cartridges are lasting. The on-screen ink level guides is also nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT - WORTH EVERY PENNY!!
