Rating: Summary: Great all in one device... stand alone copier too. Review: I bought the Lexmark x85 after having some experience with Lexmark printers. The print quality is very good and the speed when printing text leaves nothing to be desired. When printing color it's a bit more sluggish but the outcome is usually worth the wait. Just be sure all your color settings are set on the PC.The power saving feature and LCD status are a definite plus. It has helped me save a bit of space and it's a very affordable price to pay for a copying machine that doesn't need the PC to work. It even acts as a fax that I might use if I put a modem back in the machine. The controls are clear you can't beat it's sleak black color for those who are fashion concious. I say, great printer, copier, scanner and fax machine (modem needed) all in one.... Be sure you don't forget to buy that USB cable to connect it though. USB is the only option you have.
Rating: Summary: User Friendly Review: I bought the Lexmark X85 some months back and have had no problems with the printer or my computer's connection to the printer. It is user friendly, I didn't even need to refer to the manual for any directions. I've never once had a paper jam. The only bad thing I can think of is the ink costs more than most, but even that is bypassable with all the refill packs going around. The picture quality and speed of printing is the best i've seen for an inkjet.

Rating: Summary: pile of junk Review: I have owned this monster for almost 1 year so maybe wife will let me smash it with a hammer now. If you like to hear "problems communicating with printer" this is the machine for you. Also you will learn to uninstall and reinstall software flawlessly. Maybe I could give it to my mother in law?

Rating: Summary: No Worries Review: I too got this printer with a new Dell computer, but I have had NO PROBLEMS!!! The software install is flawless and the printer itself is so user friendly. I have NEVER HAD any paper jams or problems with ink or scanning. What more could you want from a print/scanner combination, this printer is a piece-of-cake.

Rating: Summary: He is right it is junk Review: Jams too much, and must leave computer on or else you need to reboot windows before you print.
Rating: Summary: It's junk! Review: This printer came with my new Dell computer back in November. I have had nothing but trouble with this printer. The paper jambs EVERY time I want to print something. And once it jambs the software wants you to delete the program and reinstall. This printer is junk. Spend your money on a different machine.
Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing Review: This was purchased with our Dell computer and wish we'd purchased another brand. The paper jams a lot, you receive messages of problems communicating and now it's seized up. It's only about a year old. The printing quality is adequate for printing paperwork, but if you're looking to print quality pictures, I'd look elsewhere. Pictures come out very grainy with lines across them most of the time and it uses way too much ink. The instruction booklet isn't very helpful either. I like the 3-in-one idea, but I'd look for it in another brand.
