Rating: Summary: Don't do it! Review: I bought this cheap printer because I don't do much printing. Not only did it often print skewed printouts, it stopped working after 5 months or so. Some spring popped out, and it just makes a grinding noise instead of taking the paper in. And it was still on its first ink cartridge, we used it so little. Please do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get a printer that will last longer.
Rating: Summary: You get what you pay for Review: I bought this printer 4 months ago and probably printed about 500 pages on it before it broke. The printer sucked up ink at an amazing rate and, even worse, did not allow me to print in grayscale. So, I ended up using color ink even when I didn't need it. Yesterday, the cable that moves the print cartridges across the paper failed and it will cost more to fix than the cost of the printer. Although I was happy with the quality of printing, I don't think buying a new printer every 4 months at $50 a pop is worth it. I'm going to try a Canon next time.
Rating: Summary: GREAT DEAL Review: I bought this printer about 8 months ago and I haven't had any problems with it yet. It works pretty well with XP, and the picture quality is decent if you don't plan to sell your pics. I was really surprised to see all the negative reviews. Got a great printer at a great price.
Rating: Summary: Unbelievable printer for the price! Review: I can't believe this printer is so quiet and works so good for fifty bucks. As the other reviewer mentioned about the USB cable and black cartridge not being in the box, that is an annoyance that HP should address, but other than that, if you need a low cost printer for student and/or home use, you will not be disappointed. Pretty decent printing even for color pictures. I have previously owned other hp's and epson's that I paid hundreds more for, and this was a pleasant surprise.
Rating: Summary: Hang on to your receipt Review: I don't do very much printing, so my printers tend to last several years. This one lasted a few months at best, and I had to replace the ink cartridges almost monthly. The cartridges are just as expensive as the printer itself. This printer is pretty much a plan to keep you spending [$] on HP supplies every month.
Rating: Summary: Good Value Review: I got $75 for my birthday to buy a printer. Since I spent a good portion of it to buy a video game, I thought I'd buy a cheap HP printer at [the store]. I found out that this printer is really good. I rarely get paper jams and I can load piles of sheets into the feeder without a real problem. It is a real step up from the Lexmark 1100 ... I owened previously. The only real downside is that it's a little slow in the pages per minute. Otherwise, It's made a happy college student.
Rating: Summary: great printer Review: i got this at walmart a few months ago for 30 bucks yep i didnt think it would really last to long but so far so good does all the printing that i need. if your looking for something really fancy this probably isnt it tho just the normal printing needs this was a good investment for me. i havent tried printing pictures on it yet but it says ya can but in any event im happy with this printer!
Rating: Summary: No problems here. Review: I have had my HP Deskjet 3320 printer for over a year. Only now do I need to replace the ink cartridge for the very first time. It still prints, but every thing is printing in red. Still that is wonderful that a single ink cartridge lasted so long. With my other printer I had to have more ink every couple of months. And I use this printer a lot. I am a senior college student studying English/Creative Writing and the amount of papers and stories I write on a weekly basis is almost insane. This printer has never let me down. I think that it was a good printer for what I paid for it. It has served me well. Peace and Love
Rating: Summary: Awful! Review: I have long been a fan of HP printers. When I needed a cheap printer for a student, the HP 3320 seemed like a good buy. As it turned out, this is the worst HP printer I have ever experienced. The paper path is extremely fragile. Paper jams occur constantly. We were never able to get more than 3 pages printed between jams. HP was at least smart enough the make the back of the printer easy to remove, perhaps knowing it would be removed all the time. Worse yet, after the jam is cleared, the printer's power supply must be disconnected to let the software driver release the jam status. For students, burdened with resaerch papers, this is unworkable. Ink usage is extremely high. If you use this printer, keep a large stock of spare cartridges ready to go. We went through a black cartridge in just a week with very few pages to show for it. Also, the printer does not come with a black ink cartridge. Black type using the color inks has unacceptable quality. The packaging does not include a USB cable. Purchasing the black ink cartridge and a cable raises the base price of the printer well beyond what it's really worth. We returned this printer after a week of trying to get it to work.
Rating: Summary: CHEAP CHEAP Review: I have used this printer maybe a total of 15 times. The print cradle broke, and now it won't print because the print cartridges won't move across the page like they're supposed to. Very poor quality - SHAME on HP for even selling this.
