Summary: Piece of Junk
Review: Same as "An Electronics Fan". Occasionally prints a document. On those occasions where it does not, it won't let you delete the failed document from the print queue. It says it's deleted, but when further attempts are made to print other documents, the print jobs just fill up in the queue, waiting for the first job to complete. The only way to clear the printer queue is to reboot. But there's another problem. The document that was holding up the queue gets printed during the reboot process. That's wasted paper, since by that time you no longer need the printout after having spent more than a few minutes deciding that you don't really need it (eg., maps from mapquest).I've forgotten about failed print jobs only to find that when I rebooted my machine days later, the printout came out. This is a piece of junk. Perhaps there will be a software upgrade, if that is indeed the problem.

Review: The Lexmark Z35 is a great value for the money. Very easy to connect and setup. Does a very good job of printing both in B&W and color. No complaints.

Review: These machines are a piece of JUNK! I have two both barely three months old. One prints 10 pages and stops. The only way to get it to print again is to uninstall and reinstall. The second machine just up and shorted out for no reason. Paper jams, poor printing......the list goes on. I replaced them with a new LExmark and they refused now to even give you USB, Serial or power cords. GIVE LEXMARK A PASS!!!

Summary: Another bad experience here
Review: This model may be fine in constant use (i.e. printing every day and buying fresh ink cartridges often), but it's been a total disappointment here. Quality was fine at first, but I only need to print a few pages - letters, drawings, reports, etc. - occasionally, and after ~3 weeks with no use, I discovered that the still-80%-full black cartridge had become clogged beyond repair. Even after paying $20 for a brand new cartridge, going through the alignment procedure, and wasting at least 4 dozen pages of paper running cleaning cycles, the 14-month-old Z35 will now print only in faint gray stripes. It is, for all intents and purposes, totally useless. The printer's original price seemed like a great deal, but it ended up costing me ~$1 per page!
I worked all week on some documentation and artwork that was to accompany a birthday gift to my daughter in two days, and have spent this entire day trying to print the pages. (Yes, I was a fool to wait until today... but I'm a Mac user - I'm used to things just working!) I'm not usually one to fly off the handle, as the old saying goes, but at the moment I'm relishing the thought that the blasted thing WILL be flying over the railing as soon as I wake up in the morning. (The ONLY reason I'm waiting tonight is that I want to enjoy the sight of it hitting the concrete downstairs.) Bottom line: If you only need to print a page or two a week, or ever go for more than a couple weeks between print jobs, I recommend avoiding this one like the plague.
