Summary: Adequate if you only have small print/scan/copy job to do
Review: We bought the printer today, and the setup was very easy, except that we had a problem with the catridge alignment page test. We called the HP customer service. It seemed that the alignment was fine but the machine just couldn't detect the page - don't know what the story was, but the rep evidently didn't think it was a problem. It prints really fast, with good quality. I am pretty pleased with that. The copy, scan, and fax functions all function well. But I realized that it has two majoy flaws and wondered what the engineers were thinking when they designed this model. The first flaw is it is not designed to have a flat bed for copying and scanning. It uses ADF. It is fine if you just want to copy or scan regular size paper, but if you want to make a copy of a passport, then you are in trouble. The second flaw is the output comes out in a reverse order. If you only print a few pages, that's ok; but if you print a big document, prepare to spend sometime re-ordering it. However, considering how much we spent on this machine (...), I would say it is good enough for the money.
