Summary: KDS's warranty stinks
Review: Supposedly, we have a 3 year warranty. Well, I'm two and a half years into my warranty, and my monitor has failed. After two months of waiting for a replacement, they called me back and told me that I'd have to take a cheaper, new (but older--1998) model monitor that has an inch less than viewable and a .28 dot pitch.I'll never buy another KDS monitor again.

Summary: Outstanding value and service
Review: The KDS monitor has an image as good, or better, than ViewSonic or the Trinitron monitors at far less cost. I went to a national retailer to compare KDS with other brands prior to purchase. Since most retailers do not stock 21" monitors I used 19" monitors for comparison... After I received my monitor I was expremely pleased with it. Note: the monitors do not come with driver software. This surprised me a bit, and I downloaded the driver from the KDS website. I finally realized the reasoning behind this -- to have the most current version of the drivers availble for cutomers. There are other neat items, like color calibration downloads on the KDS website. I would recommend the 21" KDS monitor to anyone who is tired of staring at a postage stamp size sceen. You can get a 1 page email on the screen without having to scroll. Spreadheets are a breeze to use with many more columns visible, again without having to scroll.

Summary: Bang For My Buck
Review: The title says it all. I have a monitor with a very high quality picture at the most resonable price I found. From all the monitors I looked at this was easily the best out there. Sorry I don't give anyone 5 stars. If I did this would get it though. I recommend this to anyone in the market for a large viewable monitor.

Review: This is an excellent monitor at an excellent price. The other reviewer who had no connection cords in the box must have received a packing error, my connectors were there. This is the third KDS monitor I've owned, starting with the 17", then the 19", and now the 21". I'm as happy as clam at high tide - it has an outstanding picture, easy set-up and adjustment and a FANTASTIC price (just compare to the others!). I recommend KDS monitors to any computer owner.

Summary: Windows XP?
Review: This monitor looks like a winner, but I wouldn't go out and buy one right now if I were you. Check for windows xp drivers and graphics card drivers for windows xp (if you have it) before buying this one. Once you do that, you will have an excelent and affordable monitor from KDS. Way to go KDS!
