Review: I always thought that Classic was cheep garbage. Well, they have proven my point. My sister got one, and what happened, it crashed my computer! I had to do a complete system recovery and lost all my files. DO NOT USE WITH WINDOWS XP.

Review: I am more than satisfied with this little player. The sound is great and I can get more than enough songs to satisfy my quest for my own music anywhere. I only wish they had added more space for bateries, because I do go through them. I love it!

Summary: I was let down !
Review: I gave the Classic MP6400 a chance, I bought it at [a local store], I came to find out that they are the only store who offered it. * It worked fine with my Windows 98 machine, but never got it to work with Windows XP, (I Even tried compatability shell on it.)(Thumbs Down) * Locating additional software for it was impossible. (Thumbs down) * The Sound was not too bad, clean at lower volumes.(Thumbs up) * The casing was very cheaply made! (Thumbs Down)..., I think they could have put better materials into it. I am going to return it to [my local store] tommarow...
Disappointed.

Review: I guess some people are just dumb cuz im only 11 and i knew how to operate it and install the software and jack like that when i first got it i was the hardest damn time opening the battery case but when got it opened im having the best time with it just know that if u get one make sure u DONT have windows xp it doesnt work.

Review: I just purchased this mp3 player from a local electronic store. So far i am satisfied with it. it loads the songs very quickly but takes a long time to erase the memory. also, to expand the memory, i'll need to fork out [more money]. another thing is that the volume doesn't get very loud, but it's max volume is a good level.

Review: I LIKE THE CLASSIC MP3 BEACUSE I HAVE A CAT THAT LIKES HARD METAL AND THE THE CLASSIC HAS A STRING THAT THE CAT PLAYS WITH AS SHE (SWEET CAKES) LISTENS TO HER METAL. BUT ALTHOUGH THE BATTERY IS FALLING OUT I HAD IT FOR A GOOD OHHHH........8 HOURS.
IT IS STRONG PLASTIC NOT CHEAP PLASTIC LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SAYS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY THIS EQUIPMENT I STRONGLY SUGGEST IT (IF YOUR A PET LOVER OR HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN) BEAUSE IT IS THE CHEAPEST ONE OUT THERE AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT BUT SOMETIMES ON THE SCREEN IT SAYS _I_WILL_NOT_WORK_FOR_YOU_.

Summary: Love it and its easy
Review: I loved this unit, its light weight and easy to use (the lock feature is handy when in your pocket). Other people have given the work around for XP, i would return XP before this player anyway. The main reason i am reviewing this product is to let folks know that if you have Nero and their MP3 Pro plug-in you can compress your files way down. The first set (not re-compressed) i got 18 songs. I compressed those with mp3pro (80kbit,44100hz stereo) and added 10 more for 28 total. Then i made a play-list in mp3pro (64kbit,44100hz stereo) and im at about 30 tunes with some space left. Not loosing any quality that i can notice. Bottom line is I've read really bad reviews on some of the high end units and this one is good for the price. As all us electronic buffs know the price on this technology will come way in the near future. 99.00 is lot to spend on a unit that will be 20.00 in a year, but not as bad as spending 299.00 an one that will be 49.99

Summary: returning as I speak
Review: I never even got to the point of listening to it. I unpackaged it only to find I had to hang it from my neck while working out. I jog and do other exercises that would prohibit using this. Also, I have come to use MS M player as a standard and this unit is not supported. All this on top of the fact that the casing seems awfully cheap, I feel the extra $... would be wiser to spend on other units that will meet my demands.

Review: I recently bouht this mp3 player for myself. Although I have never bought one before, I was very impressed with its sound quality, size, and memory. If you are looking for a good mp3 player for a low price, this is probably the one for you.
