Summary: Fuzzy picture!
Review: It's true: you get what you pay for. I was very excited to find a 17-inch LCD selling for [$] (after rebate), but the picture turned out to be atrocious. I tried it with two different machines running different video cards, so that wasn't the problem. I then set up a ViewSonic LCD I happened to have on hand and it looked dramatically sharper. Based on the other reviews here, I suppose I could have gotten a bad unit. But I have to advise anyone who does a lot of word processing or Web browsing to steer clear of this monitor. It's really hard on the eyes. NOTE: Huge kudos to Amazon.com, which not only shipped the monitor here for free, but provided a prepaid UPS label when I decided to return it. That's incredible service.

Summary: Superb Value
Review: My first surprize was the size of the box. No more 80# boxes you can't get through the door. It is truly PNP. I un packed it, moved the old monitor off the desk. plugged in the power, pluged in the video cable turned it on and booted up. I run with XP Home on a 2.4 ghz Sony. Absolutely no errors. For the money I have seen nothing better.

Summary: Poor Picture Quality - Twice
Review: I bought the monitor, tried it but couldn't get a clear picture after trying a number of adjustments. I returned it, but the replacement was the same. Some of the lines seemed to not be displayed correctly - the bottom of the letters were slightly cut off. If I move the window up, then the line would appear correct (at a different position on the monitor), so it appears to be in the monitor, not in the image displayed. Also, there seemed to be a lot of inconsistent shadowing on characters. It gave me a headache even after trying it for a week or two. Bummer. The other ratings were high and the price was good.

Review: I bought the mp704 after being enticed by the [$$$] rebate and sale price in January. Set up was remarkably easy. Picture quality is great. 1 dead pixel, not in a bothersome location.On the specs, I e-mailed their tech support. The higher specs listed on their web site are correct, not the lower specs in the guide in the box. 500:1 contrast and 25ms response. The explanation is that their componenets are improving all of the time. I also found out that most of their 17 inch monitors use the same LCD. The only thing that paying for the speakers and such of the higher end models gets you is those bells and whistles. The picture quality is the same. I'd say quite a deal

Summary: No single dead pixel, happying ...
Review: 1.5 years ago, I bought a 17" planar with 3 dead pixels from DELL, unacceptable, returned. Then bought another 15" planar LCD with 1 bad pixel, unhappily accepted. This Cornea is simply PURE! Can not find a single tiny dead pixel! Good quality control! Nice picture too.

Review: I ordered the monitor on Friday night and it arrived Monday by noon. It was a piece of cake to set up, and, aside from one dead pixel near the center of the screen, is superb. It's worked great with several video games, and plays movies beautifully.

Summary: Didn't Work!
Review: Obviously since it didn't work I can't give it top billing. I looked at all the reviews and was very impressed with the price and praise. I was thrilled with the design - it looked great - until I turned it on. The screen was not adjusting right, and for those who sometimes do counter-reviews saying "if you only tried this" well I called the company and talked with their people who said it was a bad monitor and to send it back. Once my new one comes, I will hopefully be able to revise this and say how wonderful the monitor is - but looking at reviews online and not on Amazon, it isn't quite as perfect a monitor as the amazon reviews make it out to be :)

Review: Just received my monitor and must say it's quite a value. The display is crisp, set up and adjustment was a breeze, and I can't find even a single dead pixel. The design and materials are also quite nice and it looks far better than the somewhat cheesy Envision models I was considering. All in all, it seems to be a great buy.

Summary: Simply the best!!
Review: I looked around and for an LCD display, I didn't want speakers or anything. My own computer speakers are probably better and I wanted something black. This was the best looking, cheapest, black, non-speaker display I could find and it is just great to look at!! Even ugly web pages are vibrant with color! Very pleasant to the eyes!
