Summary: Just what I needed
Review: I ordered the Cornea MP704B 17" LCD sight unseen. And after long reading and researching, I am thoroughly pleased with my decision. This is my first LCD monitor and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 17 incher. BTW, it replaced a 19" CRT and this is so much less strain on my eyes and my desktop.

Summary: Pleased with Purchase
Review: It took almost no time to set up and attach to my Dell 4100. I hit the auto button and it sized perfectly. The driver for it was odd.. I couldn't tell if the XP driver was used or the Cornea one. I downloaded the latest from their site. Still not sure what is actually getting used but it doesn't matter the monitor works fine.Only other odd thing was an additional software package on the disk called cromaster (or such) no real documentation could tell what it was for. Kept getting error messages saying something like "not configured". I blew it away. I think it might have been a color matching software. I'd give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the oddness of the driver and cromaster software.

Review: It Excellent great deal worth it!! This is my first one owning an LCD Monitor very clear graphics and text is so beautiful This monitor won 8 award in PC indrusty. COmpare with sony, Mag and KDs they have radation and still hurt your eyes. Cornea Mp704 is no radation at all! This true and because I have sit in my desk for 3 hrs and I can feel nothing. This Monitors has Anti-glare and Hard-coating 3H. This monitor is an enengy saver 30Watts. I recommand for anyone who is looking for an LCD monitor. DO not set the monitor too Bright it will hurt your eyes. Recommand Settings: Contrast-25-30 Brightness- 28-36.

Review: This monitor is great with almost clear text and beautiful pictures and graphics it also has low to no radition. That is true. I never had a red eye sitting there at my desk for 3 hrs and over. If you set Brightness to 32-36 you will feel no pain at eyes at all!!! Contrast setting 25-30 which ever you feel comfable with. If you put too bright it will easily hurt your eyes. This monitor has complete over sony, Kds, Mag. Overall those monitor has little radition and sometimes can hurt your eyes. The cornea monitor is an excellent value for the money. This is my first LCD Monitor I own.

Summary: Australian buyer CORNEA MP704
Review: Purchased online which is a scary prospect - was worth it - I have one stuck pixel which doesn't bother me.
We have 21" Samsung TFT's at work - perhaps they're not on native resolution, but this thing seems so much clearer.
Haven't established yet though if the warranty carries to Australia

Summary: Wow What a Bargain
Review: I am very pleased with the Cornea MP704 and with Amazon. Amazon shipped and it came a day before expected. This is the best 17" LCD bargain out there and has great specs (400:1 contrast). 3 year warranty. How can you beat it? Mine has no bad pixels. Simple set up. Great Colors. Nice stable base. Photos are sweet...
I'd buy another.

Summary: Great monitor
Review: Purchased in December 2002 and had ZERO problems. Great picture and looks great on my desk. I tried out every type of 17" monitor (Samsung, Viewsonic, Dell, etc). Nothing beat the Cornea for picture and sharpness.

Summary: Looking for an affordable 17" flat panel...
Review: ...then look no further! This monitor provides a perfect image at the recommended resolution/refresh rate combo (1280x1024 at 60Hz). Other resolutions refresh rate combos do not look so good. Looks as good as or better then the NEC and Samsung 17 inchers I have seen, and for a couple hundred bucks less. Set up was simple, CD included drivers for all major OS's. Configuring the display including pressing the AUTO button which automatically fit the image on the display perfectly. I only had to adjust brightness and contrast to suit my taste. Also, gives off no noticeable interference which my old CRT did which screwed up my nearby television. Go buy this monitor! ... How could you pass this by?

Summary: Monitor Awesome, Lowest Profile
Review: I have desk hutch that every 17' LCD I looked every monitor I could find but none would fit in the desk (this only other is a planar which does not perform as well). This monitor was perfect. Not one dead pixel. Much sharper and brighter than nearly all I looked at. I took a risk sight unseen, and after receiving it, it seems to perform with the best out there. I highly recommend.
