Summary: Unsatisfied
Review: I am very disappointed with the samsung 152t. Yes it is very bright and light weight. But it is too bright, all of the light colors are washed out even after tweaking the colors from windows and turning the brightness down all the way. There is an uneven light glow around the entire rim that is worse than other lcd's I've owned. The brightness bleeds out of white objects into surrounding darker areas. The lcd leaves trails much worse than other lcd monitors that have lesser stats. The bad pixels stand out like stars on a clear night. There are much better buys for the dollar out there.

Summary: excellent LCD for its class!
Review: I've seen and used several LCDs before, but this one I decided to buy. I own a SyncMaster 152S, which is exactly the same as 152T except its only available in Germany. It is truely an exceptional moniter! it's super light weight, the performance is excellent- you can view screen on all angles (although it says 140 degrees on the specs, but in reality it's really much more), the things can get brighter then my old CRTs and LCDs, and the resolutions are amazing, no blurs or anything like that when scrolling, movies and games run perfect!
this SyncMaster series had always been on the top list of many professional reviews (ZDnet for example), I didn't think much of them until I bought one. If you want a 15 inch LCD screen, get this, its not the cheapest of its kind but trust me its worth every penny.

Summary: Wow!
Review: This is a must for anyone who wants to have a monitor that doesn't take up any space! It's extremely thin and the quality of it is just amazing.

At first the screen is way too bright but adjusting it to a preferred level is great! You will have it amazing. Playing games on it is great and makes me not want to go back to CRT ever again.

It's an amazingly thin monitor which is great and it allows you to adjust the position of the screen, lowering or raising it depending on how you want it and you can tilt the screen. Another great thing about it is that you can fold it up very easily and carry it around with you to a LAN party or you can wall mount it, it comes with a kit to mount it onto a way. Superb!

It's a must buy!

Summary: Excellent Quality
Review: This is a true buy. If you are looking for [an inexpensive] 15' LCD sceen, this is not the one to get. But if you are looking for a quaity display and willing to spend an extra [$$] for a nice monitor, then this is the one to purchase.
It is a true beauty and I would recommend this to anyone in the LCD market.

Summary: Easy on the Eyes and to Carry
Review: This is my first LCD monitor, although I've owned laptops w. LCD displays before. After going thru various tech reviews, I picked the 152T because of its excellent brightness and response time (the time it takes for pixels to turn off - important for gaming). Its brighter than my 17" CRT! After 3 months of use, I'm very impressed w. the video quality - text is sharp and colors are great, no dead pixels. The vertical viewing angles are a little narrow, but I don't find it a problem. A bonus is this baby is thin and has a folding stand - I put it in a laptop case for carrying to LAN parties. Construction feels very solid. There aren't many connectors, just analog input and DVI input. No S-video or gaming ports (to use with Nintendo/Playstation) but I don't miss these. The tactile feel of the control buttons leave a bit to be desired, but they seem to be reliable so far. Overall, a great replacement for a 17" CRT from a respected LCD manufacturer (Samsung fabs their own panels) that's very portable. I'm very pleased with it.

BTW, if you don't mind waiting b4 diving in, then look for 17" panels with 16:9 aspect ratios, digital camera memory support, and multimedia connectors when they hit the sweet spot of the cost curve in a year or so. Or if you want a basic 17", consider the 152T's sibling - the 172T. But if you're looking for a 15" LCD display now, make sure to check out the 152T.

Summary: pretty nice
Review: this was my first lcd screen. got it about 10 months ago now... so far just 2 dead pixels and its hard to see them. other than the typical dead pixel problems of LCD's, the moniter has been very nice for me. i can play unreal tourny without lcd lag, and the color is, at the least, average if not above average. a good solid screen.
