The JTX V5 from Microtek is a 15-inch flat-panel LCD monitor designed for home and small business use. This slim monitor has a display size as big as most 17-inch CRT screens, and its small 14.3-by-7.7-inch footprint takes up just a fraction of the size. The JTX V5 has a 1,024 x 768 resolution and 0.297 mm dot pitch, providing crisp, accurate images, as well as a 350:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors, and 220 cd/m2 of brightness. The JTX V5 provides relatively narrow 120 degree horizontal and 100 degree vertical viewing angles, although the -5 to 25 degree tilt helps you adjust the monitor angle to best suit your environment. With the on-screen controls, you can adjust a variety of monitor settings, including brightness, contrast, color, language, auto adjust, and auto balance. Connectivity is provided via the 15-pin mini D-sub cable, which supports analog inputs only. Plug-and-play compatible, the JTX V5 is a snap to set up and is also wall-mountable (VESA 75mm x 75mm and 100mm x 100mm), freeing up valuable desktop space. A built-in Kensington Lock provides extra security, while the AC 110 to 240V power supply consumes a maximum of 33 watts during normal operation and is Energy Star compliant.
