The 1,024 x 768 maximum resolution with a 75 Hz refresh rate, the 300:1 contrast ratio, the 0.28 millimeter dot pitch, and the 200 cd/m2 brightness rating combine to produce increased color clarity and deliver crisp, clear images. The LCD80 has an automatic setup system that takes the away the guesswork. The system features the auto picture setup, which adjusts the horizontal and vertical position, clock, and clock phase. The auto grayscale setup adjusts the contrast and black levels, while the auto smoothing and scaling eliminates screen flickering and automatically expands the screen. Finally, the auto drift adjustment samples the phase and position every 30 minutes and compensates for drifts from the graphics card to the monitor. Other features include an onscreen display control system with icon-based control panels and front panel buttons in six languages.
