Summary: kogi no-go guys
Review: 1) First purchase of NEW L7eh had 2 dead pixels. returned it to Best Buy for another try. Noticed later that Best buy put it right back on shelf in the box. Feb 3, 2003.
2) Exchanged monitor for another NEW one. This one had a problem where a strobing vertical dashed(sometimes solid) white line appeared in applications when using 1024 by 768 resolution - even in MS word.(you could see if black text was in column where line appears). Tried for 12 hours various setting to resolve problem.
3) Both monitors 1 and 2 had problems displaying some of the windows 98 desktop background screens. Some of the screens would strobe like they were electrified. Being a novice thought that LCDS might have problems displaying some screens. I was wrong. It was the product.

Spent a few more dollars and purchased ViewSonic. Very Nice
Better dotpitch, contrast, and it works at any resolution.
Easier on my eyes that Kogi.

Disappointed with BestBuy.
The best part of Kogi monitor was menu system. Easy to navigate with numbers from 0 to 100. The rest though, no good for me.

Summary: Great Deal for 17 inch LCD!!!
Review:
So when I got the box, I opened it. The spark at the receptacle for power adapter made me feel worried but it turns out to be ok. Then I pluged everything in, it was just like my regular CRT monitor. I watch TV, video on it without any problem not to mention I only have a cheap video card.

I would recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for inexepensive LCD with quality!

Summary: Solid Value
Review: After doing some pretty solid research, I came to find this 17.1" LCD to be a very good value. The picture quality and clarity is fantastic and it even plays well with Unreal 2003. I'm not a gamer, but I do get on every once in a while. I got mine last week at Best Buy and paid considerably less than any other 17"ers on the market. I am pretty happy about it, but it's only been a week, so we'll see. Go get one!

Summary: Clerk who works for cheap boss
Review: After many months of complaining my boss finally gave me the ok to buy a flat panel screen. The first thing that I looked was price and the Gvision was the cheapest 17" I could find. I was afraid to buy it but after reading the reviews I took a leap of faith. The Gvision is fantastic. It has very good and clear colors and the integreated speakers is a real bonus. My cheap boss was so impressed that he purchased two more Gvisions and plans to buy 3 more. The only thing I can't do in the Gvision screen is to play video games, but nobody plays video games while at work, right?

Summary: Great Monitor for low price!!!!
Review: At first, I was a little worried about the brand because I have never heard of it. So I went to the store and looked at the product, the sharpness and the clarity really impressed me. Next I looked at the warranty, it comes with 3 years. For many name brand out there such as NEC or Compaq only offered 1 year. LCD is just starting up so who knows what would happen in the next few years. Getting more years in warranty is definitely a safe way to go.

Summary: Good Monitor. No real power switch. 90 days warranty only.
Review: Bought this monitor and satisfied with its good performance. However, this monitor's power switch can never cut off its power supply 100%, leaving a yellow LED light on to indicate that it vertually in a 'sleep' mode (3W power consumption). It's good for prolonging the life of electronic internal components, but brings in the trouble of taking plug off to turn it off (like nowadays many of scanners forcing you do). Also, the manufacturer only provides a 3 months warranty.

Summary: Easy Setup
Review: Easy set-up, however, from photo I thought it was a grey/silver finish but in actuality it is putty. Speaker quality lacks what I would have liked. Fairly good resolution.

Summary: Had one bad Pixel but keeping it just the same
Review: I am happy with the LCD. It looks good and I did not see where it came with built-in speakers. The speakers work good for my needs to listen to phone messages and have plenty of volume with out any external audio amplifier. I received it with one bad pixel A little off center on the left side. I am keeping it just the same and now I don't even notice the bad pixel any more. I run 1024 x 768 with large fonts in WIN98 and it looks great. It replaced my 17" CRT and saves a bunch of desk space. I would probably buy another one and the price keeps dropping. The price went down after I ordered it and Amazon.com gave me the difference. That is what I like about Amazon.com good service.

Summary: Best Monitor for the Price!
Review: I bought this a few months ago, and it is PERFECT! Crisp picture, sleek styling, and a year warrantee. Side by side with the Dell, the picture on this monitor is clearer.

Summary: Good performance for the price = good value
Review: I bought this display to complement my Powerbook G4 and I love being able to spread my work out over two monitors. My review of the display is therefore mostly a comparision with the display and speakers of the Powerbook.

At first this display did not provide a crisp image. However, after about 10 minutes adjusting the pixel clock, horizontal position and phase it was much better. These settings control the way the pixels in the image align with the physical pixels in the display. Although it still does not match the clarity of the built in display of the Powerbook it is now working well. The Powerbook uses a digital connection to the built in display and you _can_ see the difference.

The speakers in the display are much better than I had expected and much better than those in the laptop. They are small speakers of course, and a little tinney as a result, but they are as good as any other speaker I have heard that was built into a display.
