Summary: Bright, clear, sharp, and true.
Review: As with all LCD monitors, this analog unit saves space and generates far less heat than a CRT. It is a practical, straightforward monitor. It produces a bright, clear, and sharp image (as long as you keep it on its native resolution of 1024x768). The screen is viewable from far-wide left and right. The display on the 570V appears to have a viewing area equal to my Nokia 17" CRT. The 570V is easy to use, having an auto menu that includes screen calibration. I did have problem, though. After about 3 months, a single-pixel vertical line appeared from top to bottom about three inches from the left. Samsung technical support was extremely responsive. They sent another unit within a few days. All I had to do was to send the original back in the same packaging. The replacement was a refurbished model that appeared brand new. Only catch was that the replacement has a 1-year warranty; the original had a 3-year warranty. The replacement has been flawless since getting it about 4 months ago.

Summary: Great Monitor!!
Review: Here's a quick note to say how pleased I am with this monitor. I have two large Mitsubishi 2060u's--generally considered among the best in crt monitors--but I needed one more open space for a stock scanner, so I thought this would work. This monitor in some repects makes the CRTs look pale by comparison. Text is crisper, blacks are deep and colors are generally quite accurate; very vibrant monitor. No hint of jitter. The monitor also has a feel of quality about it, unlike some competitors. Very stable, well designed stand. Nice cables included. Response time is very good as well. I would not hesitate to purchase this monitor again.

Summary: The best purchase I've made in the last year.
Review: I absolutely LOVE this monitor. It's extremely light, easy to set up, and saves so much space. I was a bit suspicious because it was so inexpensive, but it completely does the job. Other people have mentioned that their text shows up fuzzy. Not saying that they're wrong of course, but I haven't experienced that at all. Some flat panels I've seen are actually kind of heavy and clumsy. Not so with this one...

Summary: Simply the BEST value-for-money monitor available
Review: I am taking the time to write this review because I am so impressed with this product. I wanted a flat screen because of both the space saving, and the appearance, but did not want to invest a lot of money in an extra monitor. What I never expected was the image quality. The colours are clear, clean, and vibrant. I spend a lot of time doing detailed design work, work on photos and video, (and have worked with several high-end monitors) yet am really pleased with the image quality. And at the Amazon price, I really feel I have gotten a bargain. I have to say that I think Samsung has come up with another winner. Word seems to be getting out as well, since I have started noticing this particular monitor in a lot of places -- particularly some design-conscious places of business.

Review: I bought this model at a local store because it advertised the Pivot technology. This feature lets you turn the monitor ninety degrees so you can view it like a piece of paper. Unfortunately, when I got it home I found it could not pivot. The manual shows it needs a special base, which looks like a wedge. So back it went. If you want the pivot feature (and in my opinon, it's what makes this monitor truly amazing), be sure you have one with the correct base. Happy shopping.

Summary: Great monitor but a little fuzzy with text
Review: I got this for my laptop in my home office. Unfortunately, the video card supports 800x600 resolution. I think if I were running at a higher resolution, the text would be clearer. Other than that, it's much nicer than my 17" CRT. Also, I did a lot of research before hand and I'm still confident that I made the right choice given how much I was willing to spend.

Summary: Great, but Text is Fuzzy
Review: I installed this monitor yesterday. It is wonderfully small, image quality is fine, sharp looking... but the TEXT is FUZZY. I got a headache trying to write a letter on it. I adjusted the settings with no luck at clearing up the fuzzy text. Almost looks like a shadow is added to the text. If you are not using the monitor for any word processing this might be a good buy. I am returning ours.

Summary: Excellent quality, great price
Review: I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm not disappointed. Considering you can get this monitor ... after rebates and coupons if you know where to look, it's a great deal. Keep in mind that a 15" LCD has almost as much viewable area as a 17" CRT monitor, and the price doesn't even seem that steep. I've reclaimed some valuable desk space, and my desk hutch doesn't heat up any more like it used to because of the heat generated by my previous CRT. Very bright, very clear, and works great with standard video cards/cables (digital not necessary). Samsung has come a long way in electronics, IMO. I really notice the difference when I use someone else's CRT now.

Review: I was looking for a space saver monitor and I think the Samsung 570V is the best buy. I ve seen this priced at $... and was surprised to see this monitor so low in price. I highly recommend. Clear ~ sharp . . . Best buy in LCD monitors.
