Rating: Summary: Great Monitor, Excellent Price! Review: I was a little reluctant to purchase this monitor based on the low price. I always keep in mind that "you get what you pay for". This holds true for the Envision monitor. You get a monitor which suffers from a little less quality than some more costly models, but offers the same pleasing LCD performance. In this case, the good points highly outweigh the bad. After receiving my monitor, I would highly recommend this monitor to everyone. The LCD monitor is essentially the same as the Sony and Viewsonic models that are at least $100 more. The display is bright and crisp. Colors are very vibrant. This monitor performs beautifully in all resolutions, everything is crystal clear. The anti-glare screen works perfectly, even when the sun is shining brightly through the window, I never see glare, which my eyes give two thumbs up.The only flaws that this monitor has are: 1) The monitor's tilt mechanism is very stiff. This shouldn't be much of a problem though, since you can see the screen at all angles without a problem. You should only have to adjust the tilt once and forget about it. 2) The plastic tabs that hold the wiring in the back are very fragile. Again, this is an area that most will only use once, but still be careful not to break the tabs. If you don't mind spending extra money, you could get better build quality on a Sony or Viewsonic monitor. But if money is a factor, I would definately buy this less expensive model. You'll be glad you did.
Rating: Summary: Great budget 19" monitor Review: I've had this monitor for 8 months, and I've been very satisfied. No dead pixels, great color & viewing angle, bright, and even very small fonts look crisp. Also, setup was super-easy, and the on-screen picture adjustment is very easy to use (though you'll hardly need it!)
Sure, you can get better LCD monitors than this one -- for a couple hundred more. But unless you're doing CAD/CGI type stuff, save your money and get this one.
Rating: Summary: Nice monitor Review: I've had this monitor for about 6 months now. I don't have anything bad to say about it except that I agree it's a little stiff when trying to adjust the tilt. I've been very happy with my purchase.

Rating: Summary: For the price, almost unbeatable Review: Just to keep it short: Excellent quality Excellent price (I've seen it for quite a bit more at local stores) The only problem I've had is when viewing something full-screen, there's a bit of distortion. But that's probably something I'm doing wrong, since the screen is absolutely perfect in all other settings. So much quieter and smaller than my old 19" CRT monitor. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Great performance/pricemix + reclaimed desk space:-) Review: Late in 2002 I promised myself to replace my 19" CRT monitor with a 17" LCD as soon as the latter showed up in stores for under $500. I found such a monitor --a Samsung-- in a major "club/warehouse" chain (the one that shares its ownership with Wal-Mart)in mid October. I brought it home, set it up, marveled over the reclaimed desk space and the sleek appearance. And after one session with Word and Excel, took it back within 24 hours due to the hideous dispaly qualities. So this year, not only ready to reclaim desk space, but to go to a bigger monitor too (since a 19" LCD offers roughly the same viewable area as a 21" CRT), I took the plunge on this Envision monitor. It's a superb product for the money. Its price point compares favorably with others this size **without** having to wait for a rebate. It's display is crisp and bright..and after years of struggling with reflected sunlight from windows located behind my back, computing in daylight is now easy on the eyes. It renders text very nicely: Word and Excel look great, it renders digital images wonderfully. Minor quibbles that keep this from being a "5": No printed user guide. There is a single sheet quick start guide, but for the full manual, you get to download a .PDF file from Envision's website. Note to hardware manufacturers: DON'T push the overhead of user documentation production onto your customers. Print it yourself and include it with the product. As antother reviewer pointed out, the tilt mechanism is stiff. Finally, the video cable connection has an unconventional vertical configuration, and it takes some wrestling with the monitor to get the screws in. Finally, the AC-DC power transformer is a large brick (similar to a laptop's. but better I guess than a "wall wart"): it probably could have been integrated with the display or base. These are minor, but the purchase price is non-trivial, so they do matter. I really like the display, LOVE the extra space on my desk, and it means the largest item in the room is no longer my CRT! This is a very good choice for the money.
Rating: Summary: EN-9110 Review: Personally I think this monitor is horrible. It seemed great at first but then I began to notice the horrible ghosting that the monitor produced. While the monitor does have vinrant colors I wish Envision could have added a backlight for this, the montior is way too bright.
Rating: Summary: Very nice Monitor for the price Review: Someone said it was poor quality, I disagree. It's not the best money can buy but its sure isn't bad. I have mine hooked up via the digital connectors. It seems a little dimmer than my 17" but the display of text is very clear and easy to read, even very small font sizes. Of course the colors are displayed fantastically. I do a lot of graphics and video work and I haven't had to do anything to get screen colors to match my print colors. It's thin and very stable and I'm really happy with mine.

Rating: Summary: Great Cost Great Product Review: Very Happy with the product out of the Box, it looked great, both astetically, and in operation, was very easy to hook up, and the software was easy to load, I loaded the software after I hooked it up, it worked without loading the software, the software added some monitor specific additional features that are kind of cool. I would highly recomend this product, and this brand to anyone. I had a CRT from this company prior to purchasing this monitor. Getting rid of my 17" CDT, and replacing it with this product was like moving inot a new larger office. This product is 1/10th the size of my old 19" CRT, and the weight difference is amazing. I gave the CRT, which still works flawlessly to a friend. I bought the LCD as it is much easier on the eyes, and frees up a ton of space on your desk, it is also easier on the wallet, and costs less to run.
