Rating: Summary: Good Picture, Bad life Review: I have a KDS KD-7300 that has given great service for a number of years. Based on its performance and reviews I purchased a VS-19sn. The KDS VS-19sn is a good monitor at a good price. I'm sorry I can't say anything good about its durability or support. My first one lasted three months and then the screen went black except for a ½ inch strip in the center. It took KDS from November 11th when the RMA was issued, until January 13th. I installed the replacement on my system on January 23rd and it failed, same symptoms as described above, on March 8th. I could not in good conscience recommend this monitor.

Rating: Summary: Great $ value Review: Both the KDS and AOC Shortneck monitors are a great value. The shortneck configuration takes up the spece of a 17" and the .25 dot pitch gives a great image. The controls are also easy to work with. One of the best 19" monitors for the money. Have installed and recommended about 15 of them with no complaints.

Rating: Summary: OK picture, but very poorly made Review: I bought the KDS VS-19SN because it had a very good price at the time, but you get what you pay for. The first one I got had a pretty clear screen and OK picture, but it only lasted three months, and then all that came up was a black screen with a thin line down the middle. I called KDS and they sent me a new monitor. I have to admit it was fast service. My replacement monitor had a poor picture though. There were lines in the screen and any images on the screen were warped. Well, it lasted about 2 months and it to went out like the first and I sent it back. KDS next sent me a refurbished monitor as a replacement, and so far so good, and I am getting near 3 months. I would never buy another KDS and I do not recommend them.

Rating: Summary: Great picture, no longevity. Review: I have spent the last three days being frustrated by monitors because my KDS VS-19 blew (with smoke and everything) after just a few months of use. For about two weeks before it blew, it was having sync problems, jumping around a lot every few minutes, so I knew it was going to go.Rather than try to send it in for repairs, I decided to go out and grab another budget 19" monitor, hopefully with a better lifespan. I've realized that I was actually quite spoiled by the image quality on the VS-19 -- compared to similarly-priced models from Futura and Envision (I've tried three of each in the last two days now), the picture quality of the KDS unit is spectacular. The KDS had reasonably good geometry and convergence, excellent contrast/color fidelity and good pixel focus with minimal moire. It was a very nice image at high resolutions or high refresh rates. By comparison, the pictures on the Futura and Envision 19" monitors are truly HORRIBLE! Unfortunately for KDS, their nice-picture product had a nice, short life span...
Rating: Summary: this thing is very good for this price Review: I like this product... but one down fault.. it' not a Flat screen, it have a approx. 5 degrees curve at corners so that's the bad part. else This product is a good investment.
Rating: Summary: Great Product Review: This product has brought me nearing 2 years of wonderful service. Can't beat the price for a good monitor.
